I almost DNF this one. Was so put off by the first sex scene. You always need consent and especially with something more rough. But I keept on listening and it was wort it.

The female "protagonist" is very very difficult to like.

She acknowledges that what she is doing could harm the town and put them out of buisness, but in the same 3 seconds goes fu*k it, not my problem. I have to save the trees, bees, and beast, you can feed your family on like the nature vibe right. WTF. She is entitled and it's hard to get past.

I will continue the series but not a good start.

This is what all audiobooks should strive to be!! Not only was the story and characters superb, but the narration was perfect!

I’m a sucker for enemies to lovers book. This one was excellent!!! Not only were they on opposite sides of an important issue that would impact his whole family, but Brady and Luna were so different from each other that they could have been from different planets!
On paper, they make no sense. But in reality…the sexual chemistry between them was explosive!!!
I loved Luna, especially the fact that she loved herself and didn’t want to be with someone who would want her to change or be less that who she was. Her parent were just a bit too quirky for me, especially with how she grew up.
I don’t really know what i can say to convey how much I adored Brady! And the things he said to Luna…hot enough to melt your Kindle and maybe a few other things!!!
Troy Duran and Vanessa Edwin were incredible! They not only brought the characters to life, they did it flawlessly! One of my biggest pet peeves is hearing what is a deep, sexy voice trying to sound feminine as another character. It’s not only cringey, but it completely throws off the whole experience. But not with this audiobook! Troy Duran voiced all the male characters every single time and Vanessa Edwin all the females. It was seamless and flawless.This truly was an absolute pleasure to listen to!

I am so glad I came across this book. I can’t wait to read the next in the series. As for the narrations how can you go wrong with those two. I think I can listen to Troy’s voice forever.

Troy Duran and Vanessa Edwin are excellent narrators and Troy is absolutely perfect for grumpy sheriff Brady. Wow. Loved every second of this audiobook. I read the book last year. Thrilled to get the advanced copy of this audiobook for review. Definitely 5 stars.

Grumpy sheriff Brady. Free spirit Luna. Goat yoga. And. Hot, HOT sex scenes. Opposites attract! This story has it all.

Quick & cute. This is a small town, grumpy x sunshine, opposites attract story that has some fun banter & great spice. It's a nice intro to the central family that this series will be based on. I liked Brady & Luna's love story - she's a free spirit who is protesting the development of a new shopping center & Brady keeps arresting her since he's the sheriff.

🎧 the duet performances by Troy Duran & Vanessa Edwin made this good story a very good story (10 out of 10 performance).

This audiobook was so good. The duet performance was so well done. Brighton’s books are so funny while also being so heartwarming. This opposites attract/enemies to lovers was full of delicious chemistry. I love the sibling dynamics!

I absolutely loved this book. I listened to the audiobook as an ARC and it was done in the BEST possible way. The female reader (Vanessa Edwin) and the male reader (Troy Duran) read as a team instead of a chapter at a time. I was soon engrossed in the book with these narrators showing their characters’ spunky personalities Brady, the strong silent sherif and Luna, the outspoken treehugger couldn’t be more opposite and yet they were absolutely made for each other.

My favorite way to listen to narration!

Oh my word!
Vanessa and Troy totally blew my mind with this performance! It was perfect and everything I needed for the audio of this book! They both captured the character’s personalities so perfectly and the performance itself absolutely blew my mind.

Vanessa captured Luna’s quirky personality so well and had me doubled over in laughter more times then I can count!

Troy did such a phenomenal job not only with Brady’s grumpy personality but also with his dominant and protective side.

I also loved the way they both brought the crazy side characters and family to life. This will definitely be a book I re-listen to!
