I've read and listened to many books on HCP's in divorce that a lot of the information overlaps. This book gives a different perspective for all involved from parents, family members, counselors, attorneys and judges. With information on how to improve going forward. I found it very helpful to refresh my perspective.

It also give great information on what is realistic expectations on the outcome of your parenting plan and what you think is in the best interest of the children may not be achievable in the legal system.

There is a lot of useful information in this book.

If you are dealing with a HCP that you believe has a mental disorder look for "Splitting" by the same author.

Different aspects of parental alienation explained with models of the different solutions depending on the severity of the alienation. I really enjoyed how the court system needs to change from adversarial to demonstrable conflict resolution skills focused especially when dealing with high conflict parents.

He advises us not to have a relationship with someone with a personality disorder. In this book he advises us to maintain a relationship with someone with a personality disorder. If he publishes books on avoiding these people for our own health, then why does he write a book about maintaining a relationship with them. How is that healthy for the child?
