After half a century of chaos, my retirement from leading the Community of Species Government has been bliss. No more hellhounds playing pranks. No more snippy demons demanding my attention. But Brandt's the leader of his people, and I've left that part of my life behind me. Plus my father insists I should fulfill my duty to the family by getting a nine-to-five job and "marrying well". That's not what I want, but riding herd on a group of beings who fly, breathe fire, and could literally crush me beneath their feet would be a huge challenge.

It all comes down to how much I want my very own dragon ever after.

I've like this series for a while; the addition of all the accents fits the story perfectly. I highly recommend this engaging story.

We finally got Percy's story. And, man, does he deserve an HEA after everything he did. In this book, we get to see Percy let down his hair a bit and be less serious without the mantle of the Lucifer hanging over his head. It's been a few years since the events of the Hidden Species. The elves and dragons have settled on Earth. And we get to see the chaos and shenanigans that ensue. This story was just as fun as the previous books in this universe. I found any interaction with the dragons to be hilarious. They really took the dramatics of the hellhounds up a notch. Also, I loved the Tea Trials. That was a nice little treat in the story. Overall, Percy and Brandt's story is quite enjoyable and very entertaining. I had so much fun. This series has some drama in the background, but it doesn't take itself too seriously, and that's what I was in the mood for.

I absolutely adore everything by Louisa and Joel Leslie is amazing as always. a definite must buy. Percy's story is funny and cute and hot as well.

Omg, I loved this book. It was such a breath of fresh air. After the intenseness of the previous series, it was nice to have a light hearted read. Brandt & Percy are perfect for each other. They balance each other. The dragons all connecting with Percy was so sweet. I can't wait for the other books in this series.

A great start to a new spin off series! I don’t think it’s necessary to have read the Hidden Species novels, though if you do, you obviously have more background to what has happened with world building and characters. Two pages in, I was laughing so hard I was worried I was going to choke on my dinner. An awesome book, with sexy snarky characters.

Joel Leslie, as always, is amazing!

I listened to all the Hidden Species series and when these came out in book I read this one and the book 2. but there is nothing like listening to this in audio. Joel did an amazing job as usual and I am anxiously wait for the next one.
