Always a pleasure to listen to Tim Paige

This was a great listen. Hockey romances are a top favorite of mine.

Sophie is a young doctor, finishing college and medical school early she takes a temporary position with a hockey team that her dad coaches. She has always felt out of place with most people because she grew up faster going to college early and not doing the normal teenage and young adult things.

Xander is the hockey star, playboy known as “ the panty dropper” He’s never been one to take relationships seriously or beyond a date or two opting to focus on his career.

Mistaken meet cute is how they first meet. Sophie needs help getting her ex to leave her alone and Xander needs to clean up his image. These two strike up a fake dating arrangement that is fun and flirty. Quickly turned to steamy.

I loved how Xander was always so sweet to Sophie and made sure she felt included.

This book is perfect imo. Fake dating hockey romance with sexy lovable characters. The mmc is sweet and what all woman dream of. He is a bad boy turn doting bf. Has a great storyline with hot spice. Both narrators are amazing and don’t have unbearable voices which can ruin a book imo. As someone who owns over 650 audiobooks this one is definitely worth the credit. If you like hea, low angst no 3rd act breakup hockey romance books with great spice then this is the book for you. I love a good dark romance and own a ton but I love a good happy loving romance too which is where this falls. This is so similar to the Piper Rayne hockey series . I hope this series gets as much attention as those did. I can’t wait for the next books to come out.
