Marisol has run off and Lily can't find her anywhere. Obviously, the Gauntts have her sister under the same kind of spell Lily herself was once under. Meanwhile, her four Skullbreakers are still trying to track down the gang who murdered them twenty-one years ago. All of them have powers that are still developing and when Kai points out that Lily may be able to manipulate blood, a whole new weapon is born. Jett starts to come out of his shell and hint that he may have the same feelings for Lily that his friends do. A showdown between the Skullbreakers and the Skeleton Corps looms, the group learns more about the Gauntts, one of the guys is almost killed. Then there is the cliffhanger...

As usual, this Eva Chase book had me on the edge of my seat! Every time I think I've got things figured out, she throws me for a loop in the best of ways. I love seeing how Lily and her guys, as well as her little sister, react to all these obstacles. I'm really looking forward to the final book being out on audio, so I can find out how this story wraps up!

I give the male narrator 5/5 and the female narrator 4/5.

This series gets better and better. It has humor and steaminess, along with twists and turns that keep you on your toes. I can't wait to listen to the next book.

I love seeing the expansion of the powers in the group and also the answers to soany mysteries revieled but I can't wait foe the answers in feom the next book!

OMG that ending!! We found out some answers I have been waiting on but now I have more questions! There was a bunch of action in this one. It was so so good! I couldn't put it down. The narrators were fabulous. I cannot wait for the last book!

Holy crap ok I really am loving this series 😍 Like the spiciness went up and the plot twist are definitely a thing. Joe and Hollie did an amazing job narrating this book! I highly recommend listening to this series.

Book 3 gives us some steam in Eva Chase's supernatural RH series and we finally get some reveals and answers to reasons why things happened in the past/what is going on behind the scenes. I am enjoying how intricate this plot is and how very evil this baddies are. I will say some of the explanations and enlightenments with some of the characters we meet regarding what was done to them were a little clunky (not as smooth as I am used to from this author) and some of the flow seemed a little off which is why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. I still enjoyed it don't get me wrong, it just wasn't up to what I am normally reading/listening to from her. I will say the exploration of powers and seeing what this group can do was amazing. I do hope we get more relationship building and strengthening in the final book because I have loved seeing some of that and want more! This series seems more plot heavy than romance heavy which is totally fine, no complaints here, just an observation for those thinking of picking it up. The reveal with the Gauntts was insane btw, I thought it was going to be something like that but I didnt even predict it right haha. Won't give more anything away, pick up this series and find out for yourself haha. I know I am going to pick up book 4 now that its available on audio ❤️

In terms of the narration I thought Joe did a great job and Hollie did a good job (I would give him 5 and her 4 stars). Same comments as I have given in previous reviews. Hollie can sometimes sound whiney/over the top, and her performances weren't all on point (I would say at least 75-80% were). I think her emotions are spot on though. Joe does a great job with the various guys and the distinction between them.

Sad to see this series be over (now that all are on audio) but excited to see what happens in book 4 😊

This book picked off where the last one ended. I am glad that there was more action in this one and that we got more answers. The male narration was really good. I liked the tone of his voice. The female was well annoying to me. She was very pitchy at times. The overall tone of her voice was really unpleasant. I can’t wait to see what happens in the final book.

Another great book that has Lily's life getting even more hectic as she works to get her mates their revenge and save her sister all while working to sort out her new powers.
