This story was written in a way that made me think it was going one direction but I was surprised when it didn’t end of going that way. Leaves off on a will they won’t they moment not much of a resolution.

Unexpected

I am a fan of this series overall but I have to say if I would have read this book first i wouldn’t have read the other!

Possessive

The story line itself was interesting and engaging. I really enjoyed it, but the male narrators voice was sort of cringe for this type of story...especially during explicit parts.

I have to say this is the first Kennedy Ryan book that I didn’t really connect with. It was overall a good storyline just not my cup of tea.

The twists and turns make it more interesting

I have a strong dislike for stories with women who continually make bad choices especially when there’s a man trying so hard to help her.

Not my cup of tea

I had to force myself to finish the book. I loved the duet style reading of the book, but I didn't like the storyline. There were disfunctional behaviors on both sides of the relationship.

so-so

Their inability to communicate which would have made some situations better m, but would have led to a shorter book. Love it aside from that.
