Vale Reed is doing the best she can.

After a one-night stand gone wrong, she's pregnant and completely on her own. Cam shows and working full-time serving drinks helps stash away money for when she gives birth, but they also put her in the line of sight of a creep who wants her for his own. When he takes things too far, Vale has no choice but to run.

Luckily, she ends up with the one person she really trusts.

Bishop and his packmates, Holt and Mercer, run Assurance Private Security. They're up to the task of keeping the very pregnant omega safe. She's even able to repay their kindness when Mercer needs a fake wife to claim his inheritance.

Vale's stalker isn't giving up without a fight, and it turns out he's more connected than any of them could have guessed.

Will they be able to keep Vale safe? Is there really a chance for love to bloom under such dire circumstances?

This is part one of a duet and will end on a cliffhanger.

The narration team of Vanessa Moyen and Michael Gallagher has once again done an amazing job bringing a Jillian West story to life. Vanessa is the perfect Vale. Her voice is exactly what I “hear” when I’m reading the book. And Michael… his growly alpha is wondrous.

I cannot wait to hear their performance in the second half of the duet.

I love this book so much that this is my very first review. I lost everything, but I love to feel good of it. I love the story of it. I love the fact that they wanted to do nothing but protect her. I love the fact that that, even though she keeps begging for them to bite her, they're trying to get to know her first before they commit before they let her know they're in if all the way, please please please please please please please, let me know when the audiobook comes out

Review:
Swoon that’s ending! I’m a huge fan of Jillian West so of course this was another off the charts amazing audiobooks. The story had it all. FMC pregnant and an omega. Then something happens and she meets the alpha she has been in-love with for over 2 years and his 2 friends that are also alphas. This story had me feeling all the emotions, happy, sad, excited, nervous, and is definitely swoon worthy. I loved the FMC and I don’t know if i could pick my favorite alpha I honestly loved them all. There is one more alpha that comes in book 2 but you have to read book 1 to get the story behind him. I would definitely recommend this if you love Omegaverse like me!

First of all Jillian West is freaking Brilliant! This is one of my favorite books of hers (love the whole duet). Not only is this book so incredible with beautifully developed characters, relationships, neurodivergence representation, and amazing spice, it has a perfectly balanced and executed plot! Plus Bishop, IYKYK… The narrators really take this book to the next level. Vanessa Moyen and Michael Gallagher are the perfect pair to bring these characters to life in a way no one else could. Even if you’ve read the book, you need the audio! I may or may not have already listened to it more than one haha.

This is my second time reading, but first time listening to Vale’s and her guys’ story. Still love it just as much as the first time! The plot is amazing, the spice is fabulous, we get all the feels, and the narrators helped bring it to life. Highly recommend!

I already read this story but hearing it again made it a whole different experience. I know the narrators from previous audiobooks and they're doing an amazing job!

This is one of my favorite OV stories from Jillian, mainly because Bishop totally & completely won my heart, probably about as fast as he won Vale’s 😉 I love the darker edge she added to her normally, mostly, warm & fuzzy stories. The added danger & mystery were done perfectly! As usual, Vanessa was amazing at bringing our FMC to life. She was able to show off her vulnerability, yet also how strong she was, all while showing off Vale’s sassy side too. As for Michael 🔥🔥🔥 I love the growly quality he gave Bishop, the smirk I could almost “see” coming from Holt, and the elegant charm from Mercer (as well as that amazing accent 🥵). So well done, on so many levels. I will definitely be listening to this one a LOT ❤️
