Maya Reid, 24, tries to make a new life in Florida while attending law school and keeping to herself as best as possible. She appears sane, but she often speaks to the Grim Reaper because of a mood disorder that makes her volatile and a danger to herself. Maya must encounter old classmates, other distant and more ominous family members, and shifty characters who come to her aid while trying to solve the disturbing mystery of her mother's death and make peace with the matriarch's twisted past.

Would you consider the audio edition of One Homecoming to be better than the print version?

Yes as the reader of the book changes her voice for each character. Sometimes the voices of different characters sounded the same though.

Dark Places by Gillian Flynn

(1) When she broke into where her father was staying. (2) Justice for Kelly. (3) How she learned the truth at the end.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes and I did on the day it was released.

Any additional comments?

I would definitely recommend this audio book. I chose it because I live in Maryland and wanted to see how that played into the story. I have never heard of this author before and I look forward to her upcoming books. The author did a BANG UP job!!!
