"Lives are remade in McQuiston's LGBTQ, paranormal rom-com. Memorable characters (including N.Y.C. itself) and a sultry-comic seduction on public transit (rivaling the iconic Risky Business scene) will have listeners hooked." (BookPage, starred review)

"Narrator Natalie Naudus brings a quiet intensity to this genre-crossing audiobook...the perfect fit for a tale of queer joy, first love, and self-discovery." (AudioFile Magazine, Earphones Award winner)

From the New York Times best-selling author of Red, White & Royal Blue comes a new romantic comedy that will stop listeners in their tracks...

For cynical 23-year-old August, moving to New York City is supposed to prove her right: that things like magic and cinematic love stories don’t exist, and the only smart way to go through life is alone. She can’t imagine how waiting tables at a 24-hour pancake diner and moving in with too many weird roommates could possibly change that. And there’s certainly no chance of her subway commute being anything more than a daily trudge through boredom and electrical failures.

But then, there’s this gorgeous girl on the train.

Jane. Dazzling, charming, mysterious, impossible Jane. Jane with her rough edges and swoopy hair and soft smile, showing up in a leather jacket to save August’s day when she needed it most. August’s subway crush becomes the best part of her day, but pretty soon, she discovers there’s one big problem: Jane doesn’t just look like an old school punk rocker. She’s literally displaced in time from the 1970s, and August is going to have to use everything she tried to leave in her own past to help her. Maybe it’s time to start believing in some things, after all.

Casey McQuiston’s One Last Stop is a magical, sexy, big-hearted romance where the impossible becomes possible as August does everything in her power to save the girl lost in time.

I'm not great with reviews and don't often write them but this book DESERVED it!! This book is worth every minute of your time the relationship between Jane and August was so beautiful but it was not the only point of focus. Casey McQuiston is a genius and knows how to write a love story for the ages. The emotions that I felt while reading it ranged all over the map and I spent the last two hours of the book crying my eyes out because that's what her words made me feel. please give this book the hype and attention it deserves.

Casey McQuiston does it again!!

Casey, you tricksy wordsmith, how dare you reduce me to a lovesick puddle AGAIN?! So wonderful to read another well/written, sweet, funny, HEALTHY queer love story.
I laughed, I cried, I loved, and I’m definitely gay.

Do I want to move to NYC now to meet a magic time-traveling subway lesbian? HELL YEAH.

Fantastic book. 13/10.

I’M A MESS

Such a cute read! But it didn't feel like as much of an emotional rollercoaster as red white and royal blue. This book felt very light, like I couldn't quite get as invested in the characters story as I did with McQuiston's first book (despite being a lesbian and living a block away from August's appartment).

Its cute and fun

One Last Stop feels very much like a snapshot of modern life in NY, very of the moment. Not a lot of plot, more focused on characters and relationships. Excellent audio reader though the NY accents weren't on point even to Texas ears. Fun read.

as a queer person i loved this book. it was great. definitely on the spicer side but there is worse. i was crying in the last 45 minutes than laughing at myself crying by the end. it’s very satisfying but i very much need a sequel. thx

The two leads have amazing chemistry!
I was really enjoying the found family, and how they handled her blood relatives.
I learned a few things about LGBTQ+ history in America I didn't know before.
The parties in this book had me grinning the breakdown moments had me very engaged.
This is one of the rare times I liked all of the back ground characters enough to distinguish between them and remember their names.

a Lot of Fun!

surprisingly addicting even for a heterosexual! wished the ending was a bit different, though.

Not at all what I expected!

This book exceeded my expectations and constantly kept me on my toes! The narrator Natalie did a fantastic job bringing this story to life and giving each character their own voice!

Great book and narrator!

such an original story! part Veronica Mars, part love story very gay ❤ a story about New York, finding your place in the world, solving mysteries that seem impossible, and finding love in unexpected places.

this cast of characters is so easy to enjoy, all unique and fun and equal parts of the group. if you're looking for a feel good story that'll leave you guessing about if there's a happy ending or not, this is definitely a good choice.

sweet and exciting
