I really enjoyed Pause! Anna and Leif's story was both tragic and heartfelt. Scott does an amazing job of writing characters that you can relate to and connect with. Both of these characters were involved in the same tragic accident, that eventually brought these two together. Andi Arndt's performance is spot on as Anna. You can really feel all of Anna's pain and passion in her performance as she struggles to find herself again after waking up from a coma. I also just fell in love with Leif! I loved how well his character connected and fell for Anna. Not to mention Andi's male voice is swoon-worthy. Overall, I just really enjoyed this audio!

I am a fan of the author so hard, that once I knew this book was coming out and in audio no less my audiobook loving heart did a pitter patter!

Anna will steal your heart her story will sadden enrage you, but it will also make you want to cheer her on. Her life hasn’t turned out the way she thought it would but her strength in the face of everything is a sight to behold.

Leif surprised me in all of the awesome ways hero’s do. He wasn’t what I was expecting and I loved that. I like being surprised by a character I thought he would be gruff. But he was just Leif and once you know, you know.

I like the way these two fall for each other well its sweet, it isn’t instant and it isn’t planned but it happens and the way they accept it is sweet. Make no mistake the heat is there it is plain to see.

Yes there are some overlapping characters from other books but I completely would call this a standalone.

The narration, though I like Andi it would be nice to have a new narrator for Kylie’s books shake things up a little bit.
I say this because though the characters are not the same the sound of them is and as someone who loves Kylie’s work I listen a lot and they all are starting to sound the same.

Kylie Scott continues to be one of my favorite authors. With this book she has infused emotion, self discovery and growth, a steamy and addictive romance, humor and a fiery heroine and alpha hero. Basically it is everything I could want from a romance book all packaged together and narrated by the incomparable Andi Arndt. The narration was infused emotion, that truly came across in the performance.

Anna wakes up from a coma after a bad car crash to find her life has imploded a bit. This story is about her journey of healing physically, mentally and emotionally. Leif was also involved in the accident and he and Anna forge a new friendship over their shared experiences. Both have trust issues and a deep respect for each other.

I enjoyed this book right from the start. I found Anna relateable and I really enjoyed watching her take back control of her life. She is decisive and holds her own so well when curve balls are thrown at her. Leif is completely swoon worthy. He is definite book boyfriend material and for some reason he reminded me a bit of Joe from Twist by Kylie Scott, not sure why but I feel like those two could have a beer together. I know all of her books are written in first person from the female perspective, but I would have loved to know what was going on in Leif's mind during parts of this book.

This book is another absolute winner for me Pause by Kylie Scott is a beautiful, funny, emotional romance that will sweep you off your feet!

Holy cow! I am in love with everything about this book! No long, drawn out intro, since the two main characters meet fairly quickly. I loved the slow burn of their time together and where their emotional journey takes them! The supporting characters had wonderful personalities. Her ex husband and ex best friend were perfect bad guys. Great book! I seriously enjoyed it from start to finish!!!

A beautiful story of how unexpectedly life can change, and learning to take it moment by moment. After a bad accident puts Anna in a coma for over half a year, she wakes up to learn that life has left her behind. And that maybe she isn’t who she use to be. Maybe she’s more awake now than ever before. Having a life plan is all well and good, but sometimes you have to let it go and start a new one. Pause is a really sweet story with a slow burn romance. I would have loved an epilogue, but I’m assuming we’ll learn more about their future in upcoming books. The narration was amazing! Andi Arndt is so skilled at become each individual character!! A very enjoyable listen!

The wonderfully talented Andi Arndt brings this delicious, warm hearted to vibrant life. Both Anna and Lief have been the victims of a hit and run crash and this has brought about huge changes to life. Lief is just the most gorgeous man! Kind, gorgeous, thoughtful, funny, able to show Anna that she is something special and bring light and magic back into her life. She is a mixture of skittish, affected by betrayal, brave, organised and all round fabulous. I have just loved every minute of this audio and will definitely listen again as it is a true spirit lifter 💖💖💖💖💖

Now this audiobook was my everything! Just pulled ay my heartstrings, sexy as heck, funniest audiobook I've listed to in ages and just the love did me in!!! Plus the narration was fabulous!

There wasn’t anything major going on, maybe I’m too used to big plot twists, but I thoroughly enjoyed the chemistry between the main characters. Sometimes the language felt a little unnecessary but I couldn’t put it down and I was so into it that I walked into the grocery store without my mask on (whoops!) so for that, I give it 4 stars.
