The plan was simple;
Seduce Anton Koslov so my father could avenge the murder of my brother.

I should hate Anton for what he did to Maxim, but the more time I spend with him, the more I realize he’s not the monster my father makes him out to be.

Before long, I’ve fallen in love with him. He has no idea who I really am or who my father is. Our whole relationship is based on lies. I need to tell Anton the truth. And I’m about to…when I discover I’m pregnant.

To say I’m terrified is an understatement. Especially when I learn exactly what my father has planned for Anton. My father is determined to make sure my happily ever after is forever out of my reach, but he underestimated just how far I’ll go to protect the man I love.

Sinful Betrayal is the fourth book of the Kolslov Bratva series. Each book in this series features a different couple and can be listened to as a standalone, but for better understanding of the world, you might want to listen to previous books first.

this is my least favorite of the series. they weren't really enemies to lovers. James Cassidy was once again great narrating. Blair seemed a bit too breathy in this book.

just okay

Nina and Anton had the best story. The narrators are amazing. I read the book on Kindle. Then I immediately purchased the audible version. Nice steamy, sexy scenes. I’m a mafia fan, so I love the series. The best thing about the series is all the books can standalone but the books are best if read in order.

Nina got the order to get involves with Anntone and this turns everything upside down. At the end of all the episodes love and life survive.

Revenge

This story was very different from the others in the series, and very well done. The narration was superb as usual in this series. I enjoyed the addition of Anton’s mom & how she factored in, especially at the end.

Different & well done

Amazing from beginning to end!!! Anton is every woman’s dream. And Nina was written wonderfully!!

I 💜 Anton

These two writers have written an intriguing, entertaining series. The spice is good but not overwhelming. But.. in EVERY book of the series the female leads are weak decision makers.. why?? This tends to be common in many of these books from many different writers. These women snoop, jump to conclusions, and don't openly communicate.. I really wish just one writers would develop a better female character who is able to communicate as forth coming as she is able to part her thighs with these male leads.
I believe this is a story telling technique from tv soap operas.. I wish at least one writers wouldn't use it and create a true woman.

Great story, good spice.. female lead.. ugh..

I do like these series but some parts a little cringe to hear. I mean the returning narrators are absolutely phenomenal but the writing could have been better. I did like how Anton discovered the truth and the way it was expressed... my heart. love it.

Good listen

Thus far, Anton has been my favorite MMC, and I was totally vibing with the story, holding out hope that Nina would grow a backbone to finally deserve him. The ending, though. Ugh! As I got to the last hour, I was like there’s no way this is going to fall into place without being contrived or rushed. I wasn’t wrong. I’m still moving forward, though, because I’m totally invested.

Nooooo the ending!!

the constant use of the term " meant to". why is it said so much? It seldom makes sense. it's just frustrating because it's used so much and because it sounds so foreign.

good storyline

This was a surprisingly good Bratva romance! It stood out from others in the genre, especially because the FMC actually had a task…something tangible that showed the darker, more brutal side of the Bratva world. It wasn’t just about falling in love with a dangerous man or poor little rich girl who fell in the arms of another Bratva…it dug into the harsh realities a little too, which I appreciated.

Now, let’s talk about the MMC! 🔥🔥🔥 and the narrator really did an amazing job hot. The MMC was not only hot but also a decent human being. Not just broody and possessive like most (oh, love those too but this was such a change!), but genuinely nice to people…Total book boyfriend material.

I’d say more, but I don’t want to spoil it.

That said, something is really starting to bother me in these kinds of stories. Why do FMCs have these clearly single, supportive friends, and the only thing the FMC can do is warn them to “stay away”? From the hot guys? Like Nina in this one, what was her deal? Her friend clearly liked one of the other guys and all she can say is stay away I’m marrying into this family… what the actual F?!?! I would understand if she knew the guy was bad news… Like No support, no matchmaking, nothing. It’s wild to me that someone could be lucky in love and not want the same for their friends. That would have been the end of friendship for me…Honestly, the selfishness and total self-centeredness of the FMC gave me narc vibes at times. Hated that.

Still, the story was entertaining and a good twist on the usual mafia romance formula. Definitely worth reading if you're into Bratva but want something a genuinely likable male lead.

A different take on Bratva but still was missing something…
