This series took me on an emotional ride. I hate I have to wait for the third book to come out.
This series will keep you engaged. I’m haven’t slept in two days.
This is the best series of the year so far and the narrators are awesome! This is a must read/listen.

Main male character was a bit of a flake, but then he had to be to move the story forward. Lots of twists and turns.

The story just got so much better!! So happy to find a series that actually has a great storyline!! Can’t wait to listen to book 3!!

Book 2 of 3 and it’s phenomenal! The action doesn’t stop! You’d think there would be a lull but no! It’s nonstop - unputdownable!!! I need book 3 now!!!

Nicole fox has become my newest favorite author! This story had me hooked from book 1., and I ended up listening to all three in one weekend. From love to sorrow, betrayal it’s all there. I couldn’t stop listing and it had me on a rollercoaster of emotions.
You won’t regret listening to this story .

AUDIBLE NARRATION WAS GREAT!!
In book 1 I loved Demyen and the way he treated Clara and her daughter Willow. BUT bk2. Sonata pf lies his whole character changes towards them and he hurts 5 year old Willow'S feelings. She had already been traumatized by her birth father. Willow loved Demyen and he turned his back on her. He sold Clara into sexual slavery. Clara is pregnant with his child but Demyen did not know this. Poor Clara is abused drugged beaten and raped by Demyen's father who bought her.

These stories did not seem like Bratva or Mafia stories. Bratva stories goes after other Mafia and Bratva clans. Usually wars against enemy families. They don't concentrate on beating, torturing and doing all kinds of sexual abuse to women and children like the Zakrevsky Bratva. I found Demyen to be a WEAK man, who in this story hurt women and children instead of the men who caused him all kinds of problem.

Bratva and Mafia stories need a Strong Male leader not a Weak one like Demyen. He always backs down from his enemies. I hope he gets some Male size Balls in bk.3.

Audible Narration was Excellent!

I love a “bad boy” MMC but this one was really pushing it for me. He was so unloveable to me and treated her so terribly most of the time. I just couldn’t see the appeal in this one. It’s too bad, I love the narrators but just couldn’t get into it.

this is just dumb... he's so in love 1 second. then he hates her again for puri much no reason... Then
He starts to think maybe he was wrong... Then he hears two sentences out of a conversation on the other side of the door and she's terrible and he hates her again... this guy is supposed to be a big bratva Pakhan badass and all he's doing is throwing temper tantrums..... I kept hoping it would get better but it just isnt... this feels like there's about 10 unnecessary fights from book 1 to where I'm at in book 2... I will not be finishing these..... I hope Clara and willow are good in the end...

MMC was really annoying and unlovable for me especially in book 2. I wanna like the book but then I really don't like it.. On another note the narrators were great..
