You would think December would be Ivy's ideal time of year. After all, festivities abound and witches everywhere are encouraged to put their feet up and relax. That's not quite the case when she has various Order members attempting to finagle her into Christmas activities and a special artifact from the top of the Christmas tree goes missing. Either someone is attempting to sabotage Winter or something very strange is afoot indeed.

This is a short holiday novella.

This recalls the fun of the series. There is snarky humor, favorite characters, and talking furball that demands food. The only bad thing is how short the story is.

If you love this series as much as I do, you need to get this novella! Wait until the special surprise at the end!!! Ahhhh!! I love this series so much I named my cat (who I got in 2018) Ivy because I was first listening to it then!

What a cute story! I really enjoyed it! It’s a nice Christmas related tail…I mean, tale. *wink, wink*
I like how the story picked up shortly after the end of the last book. I’m guessing a few months has past & it’s nice to see Ivy & Winter settling into their new jobs.
I’m also thrilled to hear Brutus more took. He always makes me think of what my cat would say to me if he could talk. Well, other than the word, food, of course. lol.
I hope there will be more stories of Ivy, Winter, their cat familiars, & all the ghosts too. :)

This was such a charming and fun little story. I just wish it was longer and I would love to see more stories about Ivy, Winter, and Brutus

Made me laugh out loud

The voices of the characters were different than the other books, like prior character had a Scottish accent & this time not. Completely bummed that it was so short & pretty much straight to the end, no great buildup in the story
