Which paints quite the target on my back. Being the token poor kid is bad enough. Throw in that I somehow form a mating bond with four of the school's most eligible bachelors. Oh yeah, like the fact that someone is trying to kill me. FML.

I loved this book. I was hooked almost instantly. I’m really excited to see where this is going to go. Also who is the mysterious benefactor? I need answers!

This was an intriguing book that leaves us with a lot of mystery to unravel.

I love the introduction to the FMC and her possible love interests. I can see quite a bit of potential there regarding development. At this moment I feel like there's a lot more content needed to give this world and characters more dimensions and growth, but so far I like how this was set up and I can't wait to find out more.

A orphan raised by her Aunt finds out they have powers and sent to a school for magic sounds familiar but this is definitely not a children's book. Raven is 21 when she finds out she has powers and is forced into a world she didn't know existed.

Magic School or Jail?

This is the 6th book I have bought and read by this author. The first series was good when you got past the use or crude, blunt, and violent words to express different sexual movements or parts. As I read a news series, the relationships, pet names, sexual descriptions, etc. are the same as the previous serious and I knew what to expect and what relationships to expect. Even what the trials would entail. All of which would be fine, but the use of “cock” “cunt” “fuck” etc. made it hard to read or listen to.

I read this series on Kindle so I was really excited to be able to listen to it on Audible, but I absolutely can't take listening to the readers voices anymore. Every book that I've downloaded that has the woman reader, is still sitting in my library, unfinished. At this point, I will not even look at an audio book if she's a reader. The guy's voice is also unbearable. I hate to DNF this, but I just can't continue to listen to this.

Good storyline on coming-of-age mage who ends up in a school for supernaturals. Parents were killed when she was young and she was raised by an alcoholic aunt.Good action, suspense, magic snd mystery. Narration is good with both male and female actors. Only negative is this book was too short. Anxious to continue with series.

It was a good story, but short. With the lack of length it made it seem like it was really pushing the romance part too fast. I like how main character is strong. She is consistent in that. It ended on a cliffhanger that has me needing to continue the story. 16+

As well as the story is written and performed, I still found it lacking. It is one of those stories where you wonder why it is so short. The author obviously has talent. It makes you ask yourself, especially in the first book, why the author didn't write more about each character. dig a little deeper. I will continue with the series, but I felt the author decided.." I am only going to write a book that is THIS LONG"..and I will cut out anything that exceeds that"..smh
