I love the story. love the author. but I absolutely have to rave about the performance. Tor is great as usual, but I don't think I've heard an audiobook with Diontae Black before and he was amazing. I felt so much actual personality in everything he spoke.

Not only is this story well written, but the narration brought it to life in a way that will definitely put it on my ‘to listen again’ list.

The narrators 20/10! So so good. The passion! The ✨ moaning ✨ everything! So so good. The character development was so great! Definitely a must read/listen

First off this book is a slow burn. I almost gave up but since I like Emily’s writing I didn’t. Thank goodness. It was so worth it.
This story packs a lot of emotional baggage. A lot of angst. A lot of anger. A lot of sadness. Two broken individuals who meet in the middle of no where but unknowing that they are exactly where they need to be and to be together.
The healing and love that ensures is a beautiful story. A story worth giving the time to read or listen to.
Emily had written another beautiful story and Tor narrated perfectly.
It’s too bad there isn’t a second book. Silas and Bear are beautiful souls and I just need more of them.

I grabbed this because Emily Rath is an auto buy author for me at this point and I didn’t have this book. I didn’t realize it was an Omegaverse novel. I didn’t know much about what that meant and this was a perfect introduction to the OV. The story was so good, the characters are SO Emily Rath. The narration was off the charts. I’ve listened to it twice already and I think a third is on the horizon.

The narrators chosen to read Silas & Bears chapters were spot on. Silas’s tenor contrasted perfectly with Bear’s rich baritone. This is one of my favorite books so hearing these characters brought to life was an absolute pleasure. But honestly, I could listen to Tor Thom narrate the phone book and be enchanted. Paring him with Dionte Black really brought Bear & Silas to life. The expression and nuance these men have kept me hooked from the get go and this is an audiobook that I’ll listen to over & over.

I don’t think Emily Wrath could write a book I don’t absolutely adore. I love omegaverses and when I saw one of my fav authors wrote one I was ecstatic. I devoured this book. Just enough action and angst to keep it interesting but without being too stressful. I highly recommend the book and loved the narration!

Very clever concept and a sweet addition to the omega universe. The plot is all over the place and the book is probably an hour too long (read: repetitive and often didn’t make sense).
