What happens after we die?

Mankind has speculated through the ages that a few righteous or lucky people go straight to heaven. Or so we've come to believe. Good or bad, our journey doesn't end at death. For most of us, the afterlife begins in an office where an overworked and under-appreciated demon decides our long term fate.

Life is messy, it's easy to miss one of the crucial lessons. In order to accommodate our unique shortcomings, a myriad of custom fitted Hells wait with open arms to teach us. No cliché fire and brimstone here, except as decorations. Besides, that would be the easy way out.

Yes, there is a way out. All you have to do is learn one simple lesson. That shouldn't be too hard, right?

Windows into Hell explores what awaits a few people when their life inevitably comes to an end. Featuring best-selling and award winning authors, these stories delve into humanity's greatest fears - death and the fate of our immortal souls.

Full list of authors includes D. J. Butler, Sarah E. Seeley, and Steven L. Peck.

stopped reading after chapter 12. only chapter 1 and 11 were somewhat interesting. the rest was such a chore to get through. the whole book just kind of drags on and on and doesn't do anything different from Steven L Peck's "A Short Stay in Hell." kind of disappointed

not nearly as intriguing as the source material

I loved Stephen Peck's "A Short Stay in Hell". So I thought I'd love this anthology. What I expected was a variety of short stories with different ideas of hell. What I got was a few different versions of the same story. Instead of the demon sending the dead to the library, they went to a beach and jungle island, or an endless attic, or something else. The same story, different settings. Stephen Peck's entry in this anthology was not good. Some others were ok. One of the female readers was very difficult to understand. She read really fast in a low tone and it make it difficult to understand all of the words. I felt a bit ripped off at that point. Overall, mildly entertaining at best, and I'm a guy that loves this sort of stuff.

Mediocre

Overall I would say the stories were interesting however, there are serious issues with the editing for the readers. Multiple times throughout the stories a voice actor would mispronounce a word or have issues with a sentence, instead of editing the mistake out the editor would just leave it in.

Needs a lot of work

So, as far as the story's go a few are good but most I thought were not very good.
But the worst thing is the narration it is overall just bad.
One of my favorite books is a short stay in hell, I have listed to that book at least a dozen times and was hoping this book would be a bigger, broader entrance into its narrative, but sadly this just is not in the same league.

Bad Narration

Save your credit. Reader performance was terrible. mispronounced words, annunciation was bad the the speed was inconsistent. The stories weren't much better.

Not worth the credit.
