In 2009, she joined forces with Dr. Kari Nadeau to raise the resources necessary to transform the spark of an idea for a clinical trial into a world-renowned food allergy research center. Thanks to her tireless efforts, today, the Sean N. Parker Center for Allergy and Asthma Research at Stanford University stands as the first center of its kind, aiming not only to find better treatments for food allergy sufferers but to discover underlying immune mechanisms against the diseases and develop a lasting cure.
