    May 9 2025

    Send us a text

On this episode of the Grow Clinton Podcast, Andy is again joined by Dr. Charlie Minnick to discuss the May session of the ongoing Leadership Unlocked series.

The no-cost leadership training is scheduled for Wednesday, May 21st, at 2 PM in the Grow Clinton office at 721 S 2nd Street in Clinton, Iowa.

With a focus on emotional intelligence, we'll embark on a transformative experience designed for aspiring and current leaders who seek to turn their vision into impactful action. This training program, Leadership Unlocked: Empowering Your Potential, will equip participants with the essential skills, tools, and mindset needed to lead teams and organizations effectively in today's dynamic environment.

Session 5: Leading with Emotional Intelligence: Contemporary Leadership Practices for High-Performance Teams

    Presenter: Kevin Allen

Contemporary organizations have evolved away from the command-and-control practices of the past supply economy. In its place, leadership practices have rightfully changed to consider the emotional states of the organization, enabling leaders to connect with people and inspire them effectively through self-awareness.

The evidence is clear: emotionally intelligent leaders are more effective than those who lack this quality. The key, however, is to transform the principles of emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and emotional motivation into concrete daily leadership practices. In short, the objective of the course is to encourage, equip, and inspire emerging leaders to apply the principles and practices of emotionally intelligent leadership effectively.
