Acerca de esta escucha

Renewed Mindsets is a bold, truth-driven podcast that digs into End Times prophecy, biblical warnings, and the call to live holy in the final days. Each episode exposes deception in today’s church, highlights signs of Christ’s return, and challenges believers to transform their minds and hearts according to God’s Word — not the world’s opinions. This is not surface-level faith. It’s a wake-up call for the remnant to rise, repent, and get ready

Loyalty has become a forgotten virtue in today's world of convenience and self-focus. This raw, challenging episode confronts what true loyalty looks like in an age where commitment has become optional and faithfulness rare.

The loyalty crisis affecting our world manifests in three critical areas. First, in our relationship with God—where many offer lip service without the obedience that costs something. Biblical loyalty isn't about religious performance but showing up when temptation strikes, when God seems silent in suffering, and when the crowd abandons ship. As Rick powerfully reminds us, "American Christianity preaches comfort. Biblical Christianity preaches loyalty."

The crisis extends into our relationships, where we're often connected but not committed. True loyalty gets tested when friends struggle with addiction or depression, when difficult confrontations become necessary, and when forgiveness feels impossible. Like Ruth told Naomi, loyalty declares, "where you go, I'll go" even when there's nothing to gain but shared sorrow.

Most challenging is the call to remain loyal to the church—protecting what God is building despite imperfections. With believers leaving churches over offense rather than doctrine, leaders burning out, and congregations splitting over personalities, we need the steadfastness described in Hebrews 10:25. The remnant God is raising in these end times aren't perfect, but they're faithful when it's unpopular, present when it's difficult, and unwavering when everything shakes. Will you be among the loyal ones still standing when Christ returns? The decision starts today.

  • The Rock of Offense

"The Jesus who doesn't fit into the American church's soft gospel or cultural friendly faith" - this episode of Renewed Mindsets delivers a powerful wake-up call to Christians who have embraced a comfortable, inoffensive version of Jesus that bears little resemblance to the biblical Christ.

Rick cuts straight to the heart of modern Christianity's greatest deception: the substitution of Jesus the King with Jesus the mascot. This Americanized Jesus loves without confrontation, accepts without transformation, and offers blessing without repentance. The problem? He's not real. Drawing from Scripture, Rick reminds us that Jesus is described as "a rock of offense" - not because He's harsh, but because truth disrupts comfort and light exposes what hides in darkness.

The episode presents a challenging question: When was the last time Jesus offended you? If you can't remember, perhaps you've surrounded yourself with teachers who tell you what your itching ears want to hear rather than what your soul needs. The biblical Jesus doesn't validate our brokenness; He transforms it. He doesn't affirm what culture celebrates when it contradicts Scripture; He calls it rebellion. This Christ demands complete surrender, not casual acknowledgment.

Matthew 21:44 presents our stark choice: "Whoever falls on this stone will be broken, but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder." There is no middle ground. We must either allow Christ to break our pride and tear down our self-built identities, or face His judgment. The offense Jesus brings is ultimately love - He wounds to heal, breaks to restore, and confronts to save.

Have you settled for a passive, people-pleasing Jesus who tolerates sin instead of destroying it? Text a friend about this episode, visit renewedmindsets.com for more content, and prepare your heart for the authentic Christ who loves you too much to leave you in deception. The time to wake up is now.

  • Breaking Free from Trauma-Fueled Overthinking
    May 21 2025

Ever find yourself stuck in endless mental loops, questioning decisions God has already confirmed? You're not alone.

In this raw, soul-stirring episode, we dive deep into the dangerous kind of overthinking that's not just mental gymnastics but spiritual warfare. When trauma is left unaddressed, when rejection or betrayal hasn't been brought before God, it creates thought patterns that keep us questioning everything—even when God has already answered.

We expose the subtle but devastating connection between unhealed wounds and the modern spirit of FOMO (fear of missing out). This dangerous combination has many believers constantly searching yet never settling, praying for things they already possess, and looking back fondly at situations that nearly destroyed them. "Overthinking steals your now by keeping you stuck in your then or obsessed with your next."

The enemy knows he can't snatch your salvation, but he'll try to smother your peace. A restless Christian is an ineffective Christian. That's why we offer practical, Scripture-based strategies for breaking free from the overthinking cycle: bringing trauma into the light, saturating your mind with truth, practicing contentment, and fixing your eyes firmly on Jesus rather than endless possibilities.

Whether you're exhausted from analyzing every situation or tired of feeling like God's blessings aren't enough, this episode offers hope. "Peace isn't the absence of discomfort; it's the presence of God in the middle of it." Take our five-minute daily challenge to identify what you're still chasing that God already gave you. Your overthinking mind is ready for rest, and true healing begins with surrendering those wounds to the Prince of Peace.
