  • Loyalty in the End Times
    Jun 4 2025

    Send us a text

Loyalty has become a forgotten virtue in today's world of convenience and self-focus. This raw, challenging episode confronts what true loyalty looks like in an age where commitment has become optional and faithfulness rare.

The loyalty crisis affecting our world manifests in three critical areas. First, in our relationship with God—where many offer lip service without the obedience that costs something. Biblical loyalty isn't about religious performance but showing up when temptation strikes, when God seems silent in suffering, and when the crowd abandons ship. As Rick powerfully reminds us, "American Christianity preaches comfort. Biblical Christianity preaches loyalty."

The crisis extends into our relationships, where we're often connected but not committed. True loyalty gets tested when friends struggle with addiction or depression, when difficult confrontations become necessary, and when forgiveness feels impossible. Like Ruth told Naomi, loyalty declares, "where you go, I'll go" even when there's nothing to gain but shared sorrow.

Most challenging is the call to remain loyal to the church—protecting what God is building despite imperfections. With believers leaving churches over offense rather than doctrine, leaders burning out, and congregations splitting over personalities, we need the steadfastness described in Hebrews 10:25. The remnant God is raising in these end times aren't perfect, but they're faithful when it's unpopular, present when it's difficult, and unwavering when everything shakes. Will you be among the loyal ones still standing when Christ returns? The decision starts today.

  • The Rock of Offense
    May 28 2025

    Send us a text

"The Jesus who doesn't fit into the American church's soft gospel or cultural friendly faith" - this episode of Renewed Mindsets delivers a powerful wake-up call to Christians who have embraced a comfortable, inoffensive version of Jesus that bears little resemblance to the biblical Christ.

Rick cuts straight to the heart of modern Christianity's greatest deception: the substitution of Jesus the King with Jesus the mascot. This Americanized Jesus loves without confrontation, accepts without transformation, and offers blessing without repentance. The problem? He's not real. Drawing from Scripture, Rick reminds us that Jesus is described as "a rock of offense" - not because He's harsh, but because truth disrupts comfort and light exposes what hides in darkness.

The episode presents a challenging question: When was the last time Jesus offended you? If you can't remember, perhaps you've surrounded yourself with teachers who tell you what your itching ears want to hear rather than what your soul needs. The biblical Jesus doesn't validate our brokenness; He transforms it. He doesn't affirm what culture celebrates when it contradicts Scripture; He calls it rebellion. This Christ demands complete surrender, not casual acknowledgment.

Matthew 21:44 presents our stark choice: "Whoever falls on this stone will be broken, but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder." There is no middle ground. We must either allow Christ to break our pride and tear down our self-built identities, or face His judgment. The offense Jesus brings is ultimately love - He wounds to heal, breaks to restore, and confronts to save.

Have you settled for a passive, people-pleasing Jesus who tolerates sin instead of destroying it? Text a friend about this episode, visit renewedmindsets.com for more content, and prepare your heart for the authentic Christ who loves you too much to leave you in deception. The time to wake up is now.

  • Breaking Free from Trauma-Fueled Overthinking
    May 21 2025

    Send us a text

Ever find yourself stuck in endless mental loops, questioning decisions God has already confirmed? You're not alone.

In this raw, soul-stirring episode, we dive deep into the dangerous kind of overthinking that's not just mental gymnastics but spiritual warfare. When trauma is left unaddressed, when rejection or betrayal hasn't been brought before God, it creates thought patterns that keep us questioning everything—even when God has already answered.

We expose the subtle but devastating connection between unhealed wounds and the modern spirit of FOMO (fear of missing out). This dangerous combination has many believers constantly searching yet never settling, praying for things they already possess, and looking back fondly at situations that nearly destroyed them. "Overthinking steals your now by keeping you stuck in your then or obsessed with your next."

The enemy knows he can't snatch your salvation, but he'll try to smother your peace. A restless Christian is an ineffective Christian. That's why we offer practical, Scripture-based strategies for breaking free from the overthinking cycle: bringing trauma into the light, saturating your mind with truth, practicing contentment, and fixing your eyes firmly on Jesus rather than endless possibilities.

Whether you're exhausted from analyzing every situation or tired of feeling like God's blessings aren't enough, this episode offers hope. "Peace isn't the absence of discomfort; it's the presence of God in the middle of it." Take our five-minute daily challenge to identify what you're still chasing that God already gave you. Your overthinking mind is ready for rest, and true healing begins with surrendering those wounds to the Prince of Peace.

  • Love In The End Times
    May 14 2025

    Send us a text

Have you ever poured your heart into someone who couldn't—or wouldn't—love you back? The biblical prophet Hosea lived this reality when God commanded him to marry a woman who would repeatedly betray him. His story reveals a profound truth: sometimes our most painful relationships serve a divine purpose we can't yet see.

Today's episode dives deep into what it means to love with God's heart, especially when that love isn't returned. Many of us find ourselves loving people whose hearts are fractured—people who push away affection, sabotage relationships, or never learned what healthy love looks like. When we consistently show up with patience and faithfulness, these individuals often don't know how to respond. They might run, reject, or take what we've given them only to offer it to someone else.

The message of Hosea offers a radical perspective shift. Perhaps God placed you in their life not primarily to receive love but to give it—to show them what divine love looks like through your constancy. Your love becomes a seed planted in broken soil that may not sprout for years, maybe not until eternity. The value isn't measured by what returns to you but by what flows from you. As we explore this counterintuitive truth, you'll discover that loving like Hosea—loving like God—transforms not just those we love, but ourselves as well.

Ready to see your painful relationships through heaven's eyes? Listen now and discover how your unreturned love might be accomplishing more than you realize. If this message resonates with you, don't keep it to yourself—share it with someone who needs this perspective today. Visit renewedmindsetscom to explore more episodes that challenge conventional thinking with biblical truth.

  • Devotional: Fear Must Bow
    May 9 2025

    Send us a text

Fear has a way of demanding center stage in our lives. It pounds at the door of our thoughts, steals our peace, and tries to bend every decision around its threats. But there's something fear doesn't want you to remember—it must bow to a higher authority.

This devotional takes us deep into Philippians 2:10, revealing how "at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth." Through powerful insights and bold declarations, we unpack what this means for the fears that plague your daily life. Whether you're battling anxiety about the future, fear of rejection, financial worries, or even fear of death itself—every single one must collapse under Christ's authority.

We explore the profound truth that you don't need to fight fear with positive thinking or your own strength. Instead, when you stand under the banner of Jesus' name, no fear can remain standing—it must kneel before the King of Kings. Through simple, practical steps and memorable declarations like "Fear is loud. Jesus is louder. Fear is strong. Jesus is stronger," you'll discover how to position yourself in this spiritual reality.

The devotional closes with Isaiah 41:10, God's tender promise that He is with you, strengthening you and holding you up with His victorious right hand. This week, take the challenge to speak Jesus' name over whatever specific fears have been controlling you. Place visible reminders in your daily environment and watch what happens when fear encounters the One it must bow to.

Ready to stop living under fear's shadow? Listen now and discover how to stand in the freedom that comes when fear bows to Jesus. If this message strengthens your faith, consider supporting our ministry to help create more Christ-centered content for believers navigating these challenging times.

  • Fear or Faith: Choosing Courage in End Times
    May 7 2025

    Send us a text

Fear runs rampant in today's world—a paralyzing force that's being weaponized to manipulate and control. But what if this overwhelming anxiety isn't just an emotion but a spiritual attack? What if your response to fear determines your spiritual clarity in these final days?

The Renewed Mindsets podcast tackles fear head-on, revealing its true nature as a spirit that doesn't originate from God. When understood through the lens of 2 Timothy 1:7, we see that God gives us power, love, and self-discipline—not fear and timidity. This distinction proves crucial as we navigate increasingly turbulent times.

Jesus warned that the end times would be characterized by terror so intense that "people will die from fright." This prediction plays out before our eyes as fear becomes the primary tool ushering in compromised faith and acceptance of anti-biblical systems. The path forward isn't found in denying reality but in standing firm with spiritual armor intact. Through practical strategies including scripture immersion, Spirit-led prayer, identity reinforcement, and community connection, believers can transform from fearful reactors to faithful warriors.

The episode includes a powerful devotional segment illustrating how fear targets vulnerability like a fiery arrow, while God's provision of spiritual weapons ensures we never fight defenseless. Rather than merely surviving fear, we're called to overcome it. As Psalm 56:3-4 reminds us: "When I am afraid, I put my trust in you... so why should I be afraid?" Visit renewedmindsets.com to continue this journey of spiritual renewal and preparedness. Text someone about this episode today—because sharing truth is an act of love when time grows short.

  • Getting Fed in the End Times
    Apr 30 2025

    Send us a text

The battle for your eternity begins in your mind. Every day, you're being shaped by the voices you allow to feed your spirit—but are these voices leading you closer to Christ or deeper into deception?

In this challenging episode, we expose the subtle dangers of consuming the wrong spiritual nourishment in these last days. False teachers don't always appear threatening; the most dangerous ones come "disguised as harmless sheep but are really vicious wolves" (Matthew 7:15). They speak from pride instead of wisdom, from wounds instead of healing, or from rebellion instead of righteousness—and their words slowly transform you in ways you might not recognize until it's too late.

We identify eight unmistakable signs that you're being fed spiritual junk food: justifying sin rather than fleeing from it, resisting biblical correction, craving emotional experiences over Scripture, prioritizing acceptance over obedience, rejecting godly authority, becoming casual about holiness, growing skeptical of true spiritual power, and experiencing stagnation in Christlikeness. This isn't just about being right—it's about spiritual survival.

True discernment isn't paranoia; it's clarity that comes through intentional spiritual disciplines. We provide a practical battle plan: daily Scripture immersion, specific prayer for wisdom, walking in humility, staying connected to believers, and testing every message against God's Word. As 1 Corinthians 10:21 warns, "You cannot drink from the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons too." You must choose your table wisely, because what fills you will form you, and what forms you will determine your eternity.

Share this episode with someone who needs to hear this urgent message. The time for spiritual passivity is over—visit RenewedMindsets.com to dive deeper into biblical truth and prophecy as we prepare for Christ's return. The stakes couldn't be higher. What are you feeding on?

PodShare - 'Til the Wheels Fall Off

"Nobody else notices that thing about you except yourself." This powerful revelation anchors our heartfelt conversation about the invisible battle teenagers fight with insecurity in today's comparison-driven world.

Alayna and Liam open up about their personal struggles with self-image, revealing the stark differences between how teenage boys and girls experience and express feelings of inadequacy. While girls often fixate on appearance, weight, and talents, boys typically mask insecurities behind a facade of strength, believing vulnerability makes them "less of a man." The conversation dives deep into how these challenges manifest differently yet stem from the same human need to feel worthy and accepted.

Social media emerges as a central villain in this narrative, bombarding teenagers with filtered, curated images that create impossible standards. We explore how platforms like Instagram and TikTok intensify insecurities by turning everyday life into a performance. As Liam describes, "We just look around and try to say that we're not affected by it, but really we are and we just don't want to accept it."

The discussion takes a critical turn when examining the dangerous coping mechanisms teens develop in response to these feelings: isolation, negative self-talk, substance abuse, and in Elena's candid admission, disordered eating. These behaviors can spiral into serious mental health issues that parents often fail to recognize.

What makes this episode especially meaningful is the biblical perspective we bring to these struggles. Drawing from Scripture like Ephesians 1:4-6 and Psalms, we remind listeners of their inherent value beyond physical appearance or accomplishments. Our conversation bridges the gap between modern teenage struggles and timeless spiritual truths about self-worth.

Whether you're a teenager navigating these waters yourself, a parent trying to understand your child's behavior, or someone still healing from adolescent wounds, this episode offers both comfort and practical strategies for building healthy self-image. Share this with someone who needs to hear they're not alone in their struggle.
