Publisher's summary

Valentine’s Day is chocolatier Chloe San Valentino’s favorite day of the year. Not only is it the busiest day in her candy shop, Caramelle de Chloe, but it’s also her birthday.

Chloe’s got a birthday wish list for the perfect man she pulls out every year: he’d fall in love with her in a heartbeat, he’d be someone who cares about people, and he’d have one blue eye and one green eye, just like her.

So far, Chloe’s fantasy man hasn’t materialized, despite the matchmaking efforts of her big, close-knit Italian family. But this year for her big 30th birthday, she just might get her three wishes.

It’s a 5 star listen

This is a great shortblisten but it hits you in the heart . It’s everything a romance story should be this romance has it’s funny makes you laugh at certain parts and you are routing for Chloe the main heroine . Chloe has a chocolate shop . Her shops busiest time is Valentine’s Day . Chloe birthday is on the big day , day of love . Chloe is wondering if her big wishes will come true on her birthday when she turns 30. Chloe has a very very rare trait on her. She has one eye blue and one eye green. She is wondering if anyone in the world has the same eyes as her. On Valentine’s Day a man walked into her shop . She looks into the mans eyes and gets a scock . What scock did fate throw her .

The narrator Nicole Blessinf is soothing and good. First time I heard from her

Sweet no funny romance!

Novellas have to be written well to enjoy them, and Peggy Jaeger has a wonderfully sweet and romantic one that is well developed and leaves you with a smile. Chloe, a candy store owner, has had three wishes written down for years, with the hope that someday they may come true. With a crazy, close and nosy family, Chloe is dealing with her matchmaking siblings, the health problems of her father and meeting the man of her dreams all on her 30th birthday. This rowdy, overpowering, Italian family is full of love and good intentions, and is so easy to fall in love with. As Chloe makes her chocolate and falls for her suitor, will she find her wishes coming true? Or will she be eating all her chocolate to ease her pain?

I think Nicole Blessing did a wonderful job with the narration. She gave each family character that NYItalian accent, I especially loved the depiction of Chloe's mom, Blessing really brought these characters to life and had great comedic timing.

SWEET CUTE ROMANCE

3 WISHES is the third book in the Candy Hearts Romance series. This is a multi-author series and the books can be read in any order.

The story is a short, sweet, cute, romantic, light-hearted, feel-good bit of whimsy for the hearts and flowers holiday. It was funny and fun… an absolutely joyful way to spend a couple of hours.

This is the only book I have read from the series or from the author. I would love to have more from each!

Narration: The narrator is an absolute joy as she puts on her best cartoony Italian accent. Other than a few odd pronunciations, I thought it was fun to listen to her presentation of this story.

Note: While I received this book as a gifted audiobook copy via getfreeaudiobooks.com, my opinions are my own and are given freely.

Short and sweet

I’ve listened to hundreds of audiobooks and I never hear novellas shorter than 3 hours but I decided to give this a chance. It was perfect for my commute. I was really pleasantly surprised that the author was able to make me care about these characters in such a short time. The story had good character development given the time constraint. The narrator did a really good Long Island accent. I will definitely be checking out more of this authors work.

This was such an amazing little short story! It hits the drama and hilarity that I like. It's a sweet romance with no sex scenes. Would recommend!

Caramel and chocolate fun

This was an audible gift from the author, Thank you.
The narration was all right, inflection was off once in awhile, but got the point.

Chloe the owner of a candy shop has two big events coming up Valentine’s Day plus her thirtieth birthday. The first she is working her behind off to prepare for, the latter not so much. When she was a child her parents had a genie for her at her birthday party and he gave her three wishes since then she has waited for those wishes to come true. One evening right before close she thinks everything she wished for has walked through her door is standing in front of her, right?
Nope not spoiling the juicy fun parts.
This is a cute, funny short story with a sassy Italian momma, a nosy sister, a dream, and 3 wishes.
