Publisher's summary

In this sequel to the New York Times best seller 99 Days, perfect for fans of Jenny Han and Morgan Matson, Molly Barlow finds herself in Europe on her summer vacation, desperately trying to forget everything that happened a year ago. But over the course of nine days and nine nights, her whole life will be turned upside down once more....

Molly Barlow isn’t that girl anymore. A business major at her college in Boston, she’s reinvented herself after everything that went down a year ago ... after all the people she hurt and the family she tore apart.

Slowly, life is getting back to normal. Molly has just said "I love you" to her new boyfriend, Ian, and they are off on a romantic European vacation together, starting with scenic London. But on a tube platform, the past catches up to her in the form of Gabe, her ex, traveling on his own parallel vacation with new girlfriend Sadie.

After comparing itineraries, Ian ends up extending an invite for Gabe and Sadie to join them on the next leg of their trip to Ireland. And Molly and Gabe can’t bring themselves to tell the truth about who they once were to each other to their new significant others.

Now Molly has to spend nine days and nine nights with the boy she once loved, the boy whose heart she shredded, without Ian knowing. Will she make it through as new and improved Molly, or will everything that happened between her and Gabe come rushing back?

Political Agenda

After the first book I couldn’t wait to read the second. I liked the storyline and conclusion! However, I disliked that the author made the 2nd book so political that it pulled away from the story over and over again (feminism, dislike of republicans, man-xplaining, etc.). The last book was not so distracted by political agendas and opinions.

A Great Conclusion

I loved this book. If you read 99 Days by Katie Cotugno and wanted to know how everything ended up this is a must read! If you didn't read 99 Days this book would still make sense to you. I liked the narration and it was quick and easy listen. Perfect for a beach day. Gave me the itch to travel!

Super cute

This is book 2 of 99 Days. It was super cute. I just have one thing, I really hope she ends up with Gabe. I felt bad for her in the beginning, she had to do something that is a hard decision for anyone to make. I get why she did it, Gabe didn’t want anything to do with her, he wanted to move on. A year later she finds Ian who is not her typical guy she would go out with. The both of them start out the relationship with secrets, but she does tell him there are things in my life I probably will never share and Ian is okay with that. They decided to take a trip to Europe and guess who they run into… Gabe and his new girlfriend Sadie. Through this trip Ian invites Gabe and Sadie to Ireland with them and to stay at Imogene’s house. I just knew that Gabe and Molly could not stay away from each other. It was inevitable that they would end up in Europe “together”. A long the way Molly gets the courage to tell Gabe what happened and he was devastated. I love the depths Katie goes with this book. I like how relatable her books are. I love the ending of this book and how it all worked out.
