Publisher's summary

All Lee wanted was to win Constance back into his life. When he finally succeeded, the couple barely had time to celebrate the reunion.

Bruce was threatening to expose a big secret of the Yoshida family—he wasn't Lee's biological father. Aside from Lee's CEO title on the line, the real hurt was the identity of his real father. That was about to shake the entire family upside down. Also, Lee has been keeping certain details about himself from Constance. Eventually, he'll have to come clean which terrifies him that he could scare her off for good.

Jackie and Charley's relationship was headed in the right direction. Both were making big strides in their careers. However, Charley is told a devastating fact about her late mom and it's big enough to destroy her relationship with her dad forever. Not to mention Joshua and Sanjay have developed a plan to come between the two.

With desperation comes dangerous outcomes that will be someone's demise. Secrets are revealed, trauma revisited, and limits are pushed to the breaking point of no return. What lines will enemies cross to maintain order, wealth, and power?

The final installment of this three-part series will keep you hooked.

As always I HATE CLIFFHANGERS this was worth the wait.

This had some twists and turns you couldn't imagine. I guess it'll be wrong to say some of them deserved what they got. Overall the series was really good.

Narration!

I will never understand how such horrible narrators can be picked! Please start polling the average public or do some consumer groups before y’all pick one! A perfectly good book can be crap because of the dismal voices! Over this was a good series, but the narrators were subpar.

Great Series

Added this series to my favorites; had a lot going on to keep me listening and intriguing enough to continue series. I liked the diversity offered and the number of narrators used to bring characters to life.

Narration Narration Narration Awful

I will say it again, where do y'all find these narrators? They are awful. It makes it cringing trying to listen to the story, even though the story may be great. Actually this story was pretty good. I like the whole series actually but the narration is awful. Now some parts were unfulfilled; like when she found some information about the dad but then never told Lee about it, so it just went unsaid. Then I didn't understand why they had to kill Miss Mills off. Just my thoughts.

Exciting

This series was very interesting and the story line continued where it left off. Very steamy too. Adults are the only audience

Yessssss

Hunn-T… I feel highly satisfied and vindicated. I hope y’all got yours because I got mines. The audacity and cynicism was real. But heads did roll and my blood pressure is back to normal. This series was a great read and my love goes out to the narrators; excellent choice in cast.

Toxic Relationship

I feel that no one realized or is talking about how he is a stalker, and she is sick for accepting that type of love. She knows his behavior is not normal, but she also is o'well. I also don't care for the way the author justified why he lied about being married, she states she doesn't want to be a with a married man, but she allowed him to show her around town without care. If he really loved her would have protected her better. He would have taken care of the wife thing first. This story had potential, but it did fall short. She became co-dependent on a man because of sex. He wasn't really doing anything that wasn't beneficial for him. He moved in away so he could get his way with her.
