A Romantic Comedy about Greek Gods...

When the god of wine and ecstasy, Dionysus, callously dumps his latest conquest, the mortal Ariadne, the goddess Hera has had enough. She robs Dionysus of his memory to teach him a lesson in humility.

Ariadne is deeply hurt after Dionysus dismisses their night of passion as "just sex" and doesn't want to see her anymore. When she finds him bloodied and beaten and suffering from amnesia, she quickly forms a plan to get back at him. As she pretends to be his fiancee, Ariadne makes Dionysus believe he loves her. But the longer the charade continues, the more difficult it becomes to really see who teaches whom a lesson.

And what if Dionysus gains his memory back? Will there be hell to pay for her deception, or can a mortal woman truly win a god's love?

Not a fan of this one

Normally I love Tina Folsom’s books and enjoy her writing with much enthusiasm. But this book, not so much. The first book of this series was humorous, fun and entertaining. This book was just grading. The female character was naïve, annoying and I can’t feel sympathy for her. I mean really what did you expect after two weeks of dating? Are you really that stupid? I wanted to scream at the book, “Please stop listening to your best friend and grow a back bone”. Did Dio deserves Ariadne ire, sure he did? But punish him for his rudeness. Don’t try to make it something it wasn’t. I just wasn’t feeling this book. I still love Tina and will continue to read/listen to her novels, just not this one again. But I love Eric performance.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THESE GREEK GODS

The trials and tribulations of poor sexy Dionysus he's such a bad boy, a real 'love em and leave em' womaniser - well what do we expect from the God of wine and ecstasy? Hera (Zeus' Wife and Dio's Step-Mother) is pretty fed-up with his attitude and seeks to punish him so wipes his memory and manipulates his love interest Ariadne's thoughts which has absolutely hilarious consequences. Both Dio and Ariadne have deep routed insecurities and once they get over them and learn to trust each other then they finally get their HEA ending but before that happens a lot goes wrong in their relationship first.

A funny plot with interesting likeable characters and a romance that's touching, tender, painful at times, sexy, hot and sweet. We see a different side to Zeus which is enlightening and catch up with Triton and Sophia's life as this book starts at their wedding.

Looking forward to the 3rd book in the series A Taste Of Greek which is Hermes story.

Worth a credit? I love this thoroughly enjoyable and entertaining paranormal series, so naturally I'm going to say a big fat YES.

Decent but the middle section...

I did enjoy the book but the middle 3 hours almost droned and I had difficulty caring for the MCs. The side characters added entertainment to the story.
