About this listen

In all the games Matt has played, dungeons are places to raid, places you dream of conquering, but when the world is stripped of electricity, and the first mana-twisted beasts start to prowl, the games all come to an end....

Matt's just an ordinary guy, but when he's beaten, robbed, and left for dead, bleeding out at the bottom of a gully, it all has to change as he grasps frantically at his only chance for survival, coming as it does in the form of a glowing, dangerously pulsing light.

With his reality forever altered, Matt must quickly find a suitable place to deploy the Dungeon Core, fighting his way through the hundreds of people between him and safety, because if he doesn't do it soon, a Core Detonation will solve all of his problems for him....permanently.

Welcome to the New World.

not what I expected

not your shitty typical entry into "oh the world be different now yee see"

"gory and profane" are descriptors I can see being used for this and while some of the humor between adults is a bit low brow I throughly enjoyed the story and what I feel to be a realistic depiction of how people would act in the situations which ensued throughout the story

100% getting book 2 thanks for a good listen mate

Great Book Slow Tedious Start

Its a great book and I'm glad I stuck around to listen to it. But the start was so slow and filled with so many tedious unimpoartant things I started to hate the character and nearly gave up on the book. But it got a lot better and more bearable as the story finally started to move on and progess and once it got inro the story proper it was great. I definitely plan on getting the next book once it comes out

Hard to put down!

Really enjoyed the story! Not your typical dungeon core book, looking forward to the next. Neil knocks it out of the park with the narration!

Good storyline plot kept up a good pace overall good read

Could have been less cussing and swearing , but like the alternative substitutions that you put in.

Loved the story

Loved the story and can't wait for more. My one complaint was all of the gun shots, to much Hollywood, bullets don't spin people.

Pretty good

Very entertaining. interesting premise and plot. Too many sexual innuendos for me, so I won't be reading the rest of them though.

Not perfect but pretty good

Being the first book in the series, the author did a good job setting everything up for a smooth transition to a book 2. Can't wait to see how this goes.
