Publisher's summary

Rider doesn’t have a lot of rules when it comes to guys, but there is one - he doesn’t date, not ever. He’s content with random hookups because dating means too much. That’s reserved for the one person he knows he can never have: his best friend, Cameron.

After watching his own family fall apart, Cam longs for someone who will stick it out through thick and thin. He’s had a string of girlfriends who never seem to be the right one. The one person he can always count on is Rider.

One night out changes everything between them. When Rider ends up telling Cam the secret he’s been hiding, Cam is left reeling. But will an accident end Cam’s chances to figure out what it means for them?

All the Stars is a heartwarming story of friendship, love, and finding the one that was right in front of you all along.

The Love Bank Romance series features sweet LGBTQ love stories with a little heat.

All the feels...

I absolutely loved Cam and Rider's journey. Friends to lovers are my favorite trope and All the Stars didn't disappoint. It was heartwarming, funny, and just the right amount of spice. 10/10 recommend. Can't wait to listen to the rest of the series.

A Best-Friends-to-Lovers, Bi-Awakening Romance

For a low-angst bi-awakening love story, ‘All the Stars’ makes for a good choice. Once Rider tells Cam he’s had feelings for him for a long time, Cam begins re-evaluating his own sexuality. With minimal internal conflict, he realizes he’s had feelings for Rider as well. This is not to say that I think the book is shallow. There is emotional depth and growth, but it’s kept somewhat below the surface. The main storyline, after all, is finding love with the one that’s always been right in front of you. It’s a well-told, sweet fairy-tail-ish story and I enjoyed it a lot.

Both Cole Michael Kurcz and Kevin Earlywine each deliver good narrations. Their performances are well-matched to the lighter tone of Duckie Mack’s story.

I requested a free ARC of this audiobook. This is my voluntary review now that I’ve listened to it.

Recommended.

Wonderfully Sweet & Heartfelt~Great Story & Listen

I thoroughly enjoyed this beautifully written “friends to lovers” romance novel, the storylines are interesting and flow naturally, it drew me in right from the start and captivated my attention the entire book. The characters are realistic, easy to relate to, connect with and care about. I adored the two lead characters, Rider and Cameron, they are best of friends and share most aspects of their lives. Rider has not had the easiest of home lives but having a good friend like Cam helped him get thru the worst of it. He has a good job and volunteers at the food bank to help those in need, a give back for all the times they helped him, he got Cam to help too. Cam does not care that Rider is gay, but he is not a fan of his one-night stands, Cam prefers to a relationship, he feels one-night stands are meaningless, he has been with his latest girlfriend for six months but she winds up breaking up with him. Cam does not realize that Rider only does one-night stands because he can not have the one person he really wants. After some eye-opening comments and some realizations, Cam finally opens his eyes to see not only what he really wants, but what is right in front of him. I loved how everything played out in this book, it is beautifully written and plotted story that contains the perfect balance of drama, heartfelt emotions, cuteness that will put a smile on your face and romance that was just meant to be. Loved the bond and dynamics between these two, loved Ri’s play on Cam’s names throughout. Duckie Mack, thank you for this delightful story.

🎧📚🎧And for the fabulous narration, Cole Michael Kurcz and Kevin Earlywine are talented narrators and voice artists. They did a great job portraying these characters, humanizing them as they bring them and their story to life. They took each role and made it their own sounding believable and just as I pictured the characters to sound. You could hear how much heart they put into their work as they captured the characters’ emotions and projected them into their performance. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this great listen.

Thank you GRR

Best friends to lovers.

Best friends to lovers is my absolute favorite trope, so when I was given the opportunity to review this story it was a no-brainer.

And this story absolutely delivered on all the feels this trope requires.

Cam and Rider have been best friends forever. Until one day when Rider cannot keep his feelings to himself anymore.

What I really loved about their relationship was how much they cared for each other, even before the confession. And how well they communicated.

One of my pet peeves is the storytelling device of misunderstandings and miscommunications, stories where the conflict would have been avoided if only the couple had an adult conversation.

Here the guys acted mature and spoke about their insecurities and I’m so here for it!

If you want a good solid romance listen where you don’t feel like yelling at the characters, this is absolutely the story for you.

Good story, slightly whiny narrators

I liked this best friend-to-lovers story, it was sweet and the ending was a satisfying HEA. The only complaint I had was the narrators’ voices. They had this whiny edge that became really grating by the end. I do listen to books at 1.7-2 speed so maybe that is part of it?

5*****

This book reminds me of why I mainly listen to MM romances. Well-developed storyline and characters, sweet romance, scotching hot sexy times, and perfect narration. I love that the dual narration by a real-life couple. This book is everything wonderful. Highly recommend!

adored cam and rider!!

I absolutely adored this story!! I loved Rider and Cam. They were so sweet together. The story was easily one of the most fun to read and listen to, it kept me engaged! They had a beautiful connection and chemistry. I loved the progression from friends to lovers! The dual narrators were both new to me, Cole Michael Kurcz and Kevin Earlywine bot did a great job with their performance! Well done, such a fantastic story!!

Cute best friends to lovers romance

I liked the characters and the way their relationship progressed. The love story was good and the side characters are interesting enough that I'd read the next one. Solid narration.

Enjoyable YA romance

An enjoyable pining that turns into a friends-to-lover romance. Both Cam and Rider are lovely young men, especially knowing Rider's home life, (uncaring dad). There is little conflict between the MCs (which I loved), humour from the supporting cast and a lovely developing romance.
The narration is really good. Both narrators had the right tone for both characters and I became quite engrossed in the story. Though they sounded a bit similar, it was easy to know what character was talking due to the subtle inflections that distinguished each character - Rider sounded a bit more assertive, Cam a little softer.
A very enjoyable way to experience the story!
