Publisher's summary

From the moment Brianna Rafferty found out she was a witch, she knew, even by supernatural standards, she was different. Although she had answers, there was still one burning question...was she good or bad?

To top it off, Lukas is alive. In the flesh, and he is as dreamy as ever. Problem is, Brianna can’t figure out the words to tell Gavin. When the two actually meet, it’s a freaking disaster. Fists flying. Magic swirling. Tempers flaring.

Ugh. Boys.

Being destined to become some kind of super witch isn’t exactly awesomesauce. The more Brianna uses her magic, the more trouble seems to find her - buckets of it. Turns out her magic might be more dangerous than anyone bargained for.

Better.

It is a lot better than the first book however this time, I thought of Brianne as a beautiful, mad crazy, confuse and "no brains"....just clueless kind of bird. I know she was in a pickle with choosing Gavin or Lukas but man, as a reader, you know, who she belongs to all along. It still kept me on my toes reading more and more which J.L. Weil is good at for her readers. So, no sweat there and the ending isn't so bad. I can't wait to read/listen to the 3rd book. This is still fun and quick read for me!

better than the first book

The plot has thickened and characters have developed. This book is better than the fist. it still has some cheesy one-liners, but overall the book leaves me wanting to read the third.

It’s oky.

I feel like there are so many unanswered questions and I also feel like Bree is a blonde to say the least.
The lack of common sense she has makes me so irritated with her!!! I’m gonna finish through the series tho so we will see!
