Liberate Your Child from Anger's Destructive Grip and Empower Them to Conquer Life's Challenges With Calm and Rationale

While anger is a normal emotion that everyone experiences, including kids, the trick is to help them express their anger in healthier ways. Instead of suppressing anger and bottling everything up inside, working with them to accept and understand their anger leads to lifetime emotional well-being and healthy relationships. This guide uses simple language for you and your kid to read and discuss together while building a strong bond and having fun doing it.

Inside, you will discover:

How you and your kids can work through anger issues together, even if you can’t remember the last calm and positive interaction you had with them.

The Cooling Down Toolbox filled with fun activities to help kids find their zen, deal with big emotions, and get along with others.

What Dialectical Behavior Therapy can do for your kid—and how to practice it at home by implementing a few simple strategies.

How to work together with your kid to help them use words in place of yelling, hitting, and acting out, even if you feel desperate and think it would take a miracle.

Everything you need to know about anger monsters and how your kid can become an Anger Monster Tamer.

How to know when your kid needs professional help to control their anger, and how you and their teachers can play a supporting role.

How your kid can develop empathy and be kind, respectful, and caring while still holding fast to their own opinions and ideas.

And much more.

A child’s anger isn’t just a phase they’re going through and will grow out of. The truth is if they aren’t guided on how to manage and control their anger and feelings, it won’t get any easier. And the sooner they learn the necessary skills needed, the sooner you’ll find your kid ready to tackle any situation without losing their cool. Equip your child with the tools to conquer anger, regulate their emotions, and make friends.

Bridging Emotional Gaps with Storytime

I snagged “Anger Management Stories for Kids” on a whim, hoping to find a gentle way to help my kiddo navigate through his fiery emotions. Well, this audiobook was nothing short of a bonding catalyst between me and my son. As a dad, it's tough seeing your kid struggle with anger, and this guide made broaching the subject a tad easier. We delved into the Cooling Down Toolbox together, and oh boy, did we have fun exploring those activities! It’s amusing yet insightful to watch him mimic being an “Anger Monster Tamer." The simple language makes it a breeze for us to have earnest chats about his emotions, something I wasn't sure how to approach before. This isn't just an audiobook; it's an invitation for parents to step into their child's emotional world. Our storytime now builds more than imagination; it’s building emotional bridges.

Fun way to help kids manage big feelings

I absolutely love this audiobook. Sara really knows how to tell fun stories and also provide great advice about how to handle anger. Through relatable characters and effective storytelling, Sara helps children identify and understand their emotions and shows them how to respond in healthier ways. One takeaway that really struck me was how to use stories, fables, and games to help kids recognize and avoid heightened emotions. This book is not only educational, but it's also fun and entertaining. The narrator does an exceptional job of bringing the stories to life and making the lessons relatable. I would recommend this audiobook to any parent looking for a way to help their children learn how to better manage their emotions.

Love this!

One of the books that both parents and kids can listen to while on a drive to/from school and have some meaningful conversations! Highly recommend. My boys (7 and 9) related to many stories in it and with my help of re-emphasizing the lesson taught, they enjoyed and was happy to listen to more chapters!

Taming the anger monster!

I absolutely adored the unique approach this book takes in helping little ones deal with the "anger monster." It's like a creative tool designed especially for them, and it works wonders in helping them grasp the source of their emotions and find a way to calm down.

I can relate as I have a spirited and often explosive daughter. This book has proven to be a truly helpful tool in our journey. It not only provides insight into the origins of her feelings but also equips her (and me) with the skills to manage them better. It's a must-have resource for parents and caregivers navigating the sometimes stormy waters of children's emotions.

More helpful for parents

Anger management stories for kids are more neede and could be more helpful for parents. Maybe this audibook should be heard by both parents and kids together. Title tells you that this audible can be fairytale that kids soothe themselves; however, actaully this book is very practical. It could be beneficial when kids and parents discuss what they feel after they listen to this audiobook. I will try that with my kids as well! Highly recommended.

I wish I'd read this sooner

My daughter has ADHD and sometimes has trouble controlling her emotions. Angry outbursts happen pretty regularly in my house. Sara's book is filled with stories I have been able to share with my daughter. The book's imaginative storytelling breaks down difficult concepts easily. Moreover, at the end of each chapter are helpful talking points and thought-provoking questions. I only wish this book had been available years ago - it would have saved both me and my daughter from unnecessary outbursts. I love how this book highlights empathy and identifying uplifting emotions. It takes a positive spin on tackling big feelings.
