Publisher's summary

USA Today best-selling author Ward Larsen's globe-trotting, hard-hitting assassin, David Slaton, returns for another breathless adventure in Assassin's Revenge.

On a sunny dock in Gibraltar, Slaton returns to the sailboat he shares with his wife and young son to find them missing. The only clue to their whereabouts is a cryptic message: If he wants to see them again, he must eliminate an obscure scientist working for the International Atomic Energy Agency. Slaton races to Vienna to unravel the scheme.

Half a world away, a small team of ISIS operatives arrives in North Korea. It is comprised of two suicidal jihadists, one technician, and the caliphate’s only officer with naval experience. Their mission: to reestablish the group’s relevance by undertaking a shocking strike against America.

From Europe to North Korea to the Pacific Ocean, Slaton finds himself entangled in a deadly nuclear game. Working against him are a band of suicidal terrorists, supported by a North Korean government that is about to implode. That slate of actors, however, face something even more lethal.

A devoted father and husband - one who happens to be the perfect assassin.

Revenge is when you threaten those I love

The narrator has a good strong, rough voice, perfect for this type of story, but he doesn't differentiate or do women's voices well. But we can live with that.

There was a point where it seemed that if Slayton had done things differently, it all would have been over. But hindsight comes later.

Nevertheless, this book keeps you listening long past bed time. It keeps you guessing what the bad guys are really up to. Then it keeps you wondering how Slayton can possibly save the day. But he does.

All in all, a very good listen, and a good volume in the series.

Another Brilliant Story

This is a great thriller series, equal to that of Mark Greaney, Tom Wood, Greg Hurwitz, Ben Coes, or Vince Flynn. I am a little sad that this is the last book until next August. Ward Larsen is a brilliant storyteller with well written fast moving complicated plots. This one has a little more fantasy to it but was still very enjoyable. I really enjoy the David Slaton character although in these later books he seems a little more American than Israeli. The series is great and ought to be more widely read. The narrator P.J. Ochlan also does a great job with this series.

Bravo!

Fantastic. Perfect. Nailed it! Great series and a great book! Narrated to perfection. Very well thought out, extreme surprises and twists. The only down side was that it ended...now begins the wait for the next!

Montana Slaytons

Absolutely perfect. A few eye rolls but nothing serious. I can't wait for Kid Slayton to strap on a six gun and step out into the dusty street to confront the local bad guy and save the damsel, and her son, from some unacceptable indignation. Hi yo Silver.....
