Publisher's summary

Omega looking for alpha for...unusual request. Must be physically impressive. Please inquire for further details.

Christian Kelley is down on his luck - big time. After moving to Las Vegas in the hopes of becoming an entertainer, he’s been met with nothing but rejection, so when a friend suggests he sign up with Rent-a-Dom as a service provider, he’s eager to give it a shot. While more naturally submissive than dominant, Christian is sure he can pull off the act well enough...at least, until the founder of Rent-a-Dom himself contacts him with an unusual proposal, and his world turns upside down.

Monty Mills, the mysterious founder of Rent-a-Dom, has a problem he can’t fix. With Rent-a-Dom’s fifth year anniversary on the horizon, he sees potential for exposure like never before. The problem? He’ll risk Rent-a-Dom’s credibility if he shows his face in public. What he needs is a beard - someone who can make the world think he’s someone he’s not.

Someone like Christian Kelley.

Sparks fly when Monty and Christian meet, but with Monty’s business riding on their success, and Christian’s future hinged on this performance, love isn’t on the agenda. Is it?

This final installment in the Rent-a-Dom series contains mpreg, D/s elements, and is intended for 18+ listeners.

Warning: Don't listen unless you like fun books with mysterious and powerful omega Doms, bubble bath disasters, rugged, secretly pierced alphas who long to submit, and scenes that’ll make Vegas temperatures cool in comparison. But then again, this is a Susi Hawke and Piper Scott collaboration - you already knew to expect that, didn’t you?

Great Wrap up

I've been looking forward to Monty's story and it was everything I wanted and Christian made it even more. If you're familiar with Hawke and Scott you know this is a fun read/listen and Russo as usual brings it to life perfectly.

Great finale to the Rent-,a-Dom series

Founder of the Rent-a-Dom company, Monte Mills, finds himself in a difficult situation. The fifth anniversary of the foundation of the company is coming up, and there needs to be a celebration. However, he fears that if he, an Omega, shows up as the man in charge, the company will lose face.

Christian moved to Las Vegas hoping to become an entertainer. When that doesn't work out, his friend convinces him to apply at Rent-a-Dom. He gets his letter of hire, then a job offer immediately after the first email comes through.

Monte has decided that he is going to train Christian to be him, so that he, an Alpha Dom, can represent the company. However, when they start working together, it is immediately obvious that he is naturally submissive.

But, there is something about Christian that makes Monte feel again. He begins thinking about things besides work, and allows himself to enjoy things that are against his normal inclinations.

As time goes by, choices are made, and things go much better than Monte ever thought possible. And, of course, we get our HEA.

As always, Nick J. Russo did a great job with the narration.

Fantastic

Beard Wanted is the fourth and final book in the Rent-A-Dom series by Susi Hawke and Piper Scott. It is just as tantalizing and amazing as the previous books.

Omega and founder of Rent-A-Dom. Monty is in need of a strong and able Alpha to pose as him at an upcoming public event celebrating his company's fifth anniversary. Everyone expects a powerful Alpha to be at the head of such success and Monty plans to keep that farse up. When he sees an application filled out by aspiring actor Christian, he believes he has the perfect plan. And that is the beginning of his world tilting off its axis.

Christian and Monty are so flipping sexy together. The heat in this book may melt your kindle. It also has humor, sweet times between two beautiful men, a surprise pregnancy that flips the world for the characters and is the perfect closing to the wonderful series. I hate to say goodbye but can truly say this was a fantastic ride.

Nick J Russo narrates this audiobook and does a fantastic job. The characters and their personalities shone through. Great experience.

Can't believe it's over

Our last book in the series.
In this one, we finally get the founder of Rent-A-Dom Monty.
For reason, all his own Monty is in need of a strong and able Alpha to pose as him at an upcoming public event for his company.
Monty believes that everyone expects a powerful Alpha to be at the head of such success and Monty is well an omega.
When he sees an application filled out by aspiring actor Christian, he believes he has the perfect Man. So these two are forced to spend a lot of time together to Christian can learn to speak and act like Monty. These two are so amazing and sexy together.
Nick J Russo once again does an amazing narration of this audiobook.

Hate to See the Series End

Monty, the slightly paranoid head of Rent-a-Dom, is looking for a Beard, an Alpha who will play him in public, to keep his Omega status a secret from his business contacts and Las Vegas as a whole. Christian, a performer who hasn't had any luck finding jobs where he can act, follows his friends advice and applies for Rent-a-Dom. When Monty contacts Christian for an acting gig that will set him up nicely financially, he doesn't even have to think twice about it! While teaching Christian how to be Monty, the two grow close; but can Monty over come his insecurities and trust Christian?
This entire series has been such a ride and this story is no different. Monty, someone you've met briefly in previous stories, finally gets his happily ever after, and it Christian is such a perfect guy for him, having not only the patience to get to know him in the beginning but also the strength to push at times when he needs to. Its nice to see both sides in, not only one, but both characters. In addition to Christian and Monty, you get to see other characters from previous stories (Toby & Thorne from Daddy Wanted, and Robin from Master Wanted) and get a look at their life a little later in the timeline.
Nick J Russo did such an amazing job with not only this book, but the entire series! While each character is similar (as there are only so many voices one man can make), he does a good job giving them their own unique feeling with tone and inflection. This is one series that I have listened to several times, and this book in particular will be one I listen to again and again!

Bringing the story to life

What a great conclusion to this series. Christian and Monty have really good chemistry and I love the connection they have. I really hate the world at large that would force Monty to feel he has to hide who/what he really is. He and Christian embark on an unconventional journey to have the party the company and it's participants really deserve. It is fun seeing them in their roles and seeing how even the best laid plans tend to go awry. I loved the introduction of Monty to the world at large. What a way to reveal yourself to everyone with the biggest splash possible. This narrator has done an amazing job with all of the books and this one is just one more in the fantastic journey.

Better then the third

I didn't get to review the third because of an error in audible but this one was better then that. I guess I felt the third didn't do Dakota justice. This one was ok. The voices were good but I felt myself having to rewind it because it didn't hold my attention.

Fourth and last book in the series

Although this is the final book in the series, you can listen to it as a standalone with no problem, at all.

So, about this book... I really, really liked Monty. He's a very interesting, very complex character, and Christian is a great fit for him, with all his optimism and spontaneity.

The story is on the short side, but stll manages a good balance between sweet and steamy, and you get to care about the MCs.

Nick J. Russo did a good job narrating.

All in all, an entertaining 'read'

Courage

I love the way these two blend together in a wonderful give and take. Each of them finds the courage to be their best self. It was also wonderful that being truthful did nothing but help the company.

as good as the ebook

The story is always 4 or 5 stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook.

The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. It took me a little bit, to come into the narrator, but at the end, it worked. I only have to take a few breaks between. I'm just not yet finish with the book, but I listen enough to give a review.

PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!

To my ratings:

5* - very very good
it's like an A+

4* - very good and will be often re-listening
it's like an A

3* - it's more then a one-time-listening.
it's like a B
