Publisher's summary

Krysten "Kry" Rodriguez is the new girl in school, and Emma decides she would make a great best friend. The problem is that her arch nemesis, Cynthia, thinks so, too. Emma doesn't want to fight Cynthia, but she has to come up with a plan to get to Kry before Cynthia does. The other problem? Emma accidentally forgot that she already has a best friend? Annie Pat. But it's not Emma's fault that Annie Pat got a stomachache and missed meeting Kry. And it's not her fault that she made plans with Kry on the same day she and Annie Pat had planned their big trip to Marine Universe. Can Emma make up with Annie Pat and be Kry's friend as well? Or will she be left alone with no friends at all?

Editorial reviews

Narrator Emily Cook's youthful, bright voice is also smart and knowing, and her performance never condescends to the children she portrays. Emma wants to make the new girl in school, Krysten, her best friend, but there are a couple of things that she hasn't quite considered. First, her nemesis Cynthia has the same plan, and second, Emma already has a best friend. Cook will make listeners smile with her performance - the way she speaks is infused with the excitement and perceptiveness unique to kids - and young listeners will appreciate learning about the value of friendship in such an entertaining way.

the voice is everything in audible books...we like this one!

These are cute stories, well written, with a little life lesson. My daughter loves them all.

AMAZING🤩🤩🤩❤️❤️❤️

This book is so sweet! Emma really wanted to make it up to Annie Pat and felt really bad for lying to her mom. This was a great kids book and I loved it! 10/10 I want sally Warner to make more of the Emma series. Whoever is reading this get the book and listen to it. It is sooo good. I’ve listened to it like 200,000,000,000 times this year it is such a good book!❤️❤️❤️
