What made the experience of listening to Blood Covenant the most enjoyable?

Micheal's story is unreal. As a mob history buff his story is by far my favorite. Its not the typical mob story filled with murders. Its more of the story of someone who became the biggest earner for la cosa nostra then walked away without becoming a rat. He gets into how his faith helped him in his path to walk away, that might be a turn off for the none religious types (I'm by no means a big religious person) but don't let that turn you away. It truly is an unbelievable story. I listened to it many times over and I really cant say enough about how good the story is. If you are a mob fan, you need this book.

Phenomenal narrative until the last chapter, when Michael basically preaches on Catholicism the whole time. The end.

Very little detail about mob life. A good father/son and redemption book though. He did a great job reading his own book btw. I wish him and his family the best. A good listen.

I loved the insight into the life of Michael Franzese. In his own words he reads a fascinating life to us. Worth the read I think.

What an amazing retelling of life in the mafia. More importantly, what a meaningful and striking testimony of faith. Cammies part brought tears to my eyes!

Amazing story of Gods redeeming love

This book could save your soul. even if your soul is already saved this is a great book. at first you may think it is a mobster books and in some ways it is. But ultimately it is a love story about a man who falls in love with a Christian woman and that love is so strong set God grabs ahold of him and leads him to Salvation.
