About this listen

The crew of the Hotspur just happens to be looking for a new home. If Nick James is right, and he usually is, the Tipperary solar system is about to become the busiest trading hub in the galaxy. To sweeten the pot, the cloud-city of Lèger Nuage is offering free warehouse space to qualified traders. It's a deal that seems too good to pass up.

Of course, nothing's as simple as it seems. Just like Earth's Old West, the Tipperary system is as full of promise as it is Buccaneers who are happy to prey on the weak. No one expects it to be easy, but deceit, piracy, and murder kindle the pioneering spirit in each of them. Only the strong will prosper and the question is - can Liam, Nick, and the rest of the crew carve out a place to call their own?

Be sure to also check out Rookie Privateer, which is the first in this exciting science fiction series.

GREAT SERIES !

Would you listen to Buccaneers again? Why?

Fun and fast moving Still a bit of coming of age series, first loves to first blood always out to help the underdog but asking more moral questions,oh and I enjoy the narration.

Have you listened to any of Mikael Naramore’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Most excellent!

On top of being one of the best spacer books, Michael Naramore has to be THE best voice actor I've come across so far.

Excellent!

Pretty good, but Tabby is like a horny cat

A good listen, however I found Tabby to be a bit distracting to the story. She's like a horny cat that needs to be leashed.

Great story but...

I really like the series but in this book one character is so annoying that I wanted to delete her from the book, and that is Tabby, omg what a fucked up character. Is she made just to be stupid and annoying? Other then that I really enjoy reading about the loose nuts :-)

this series has detereiorated each new volume.

wow talk about the wrong direction series has turned into a frosted cupcake. characters have declined, plot and story are ok and would be interesting if there was some action, maturity to character development and less trival pursuit.

Great Story and narration

This book follows on from the previous Buccaneer stories. A good, fast paced story worth the read for any SCI-FI fan
