Publisher's summary

For 12 long years, I’ve breathed, I’ve bled for only one thing....

Revenge.

Four men took something from me, something which can never be replaced. That one night changed the lives of so many and taught me that monsters are real.

But I also learned I’m the biggest monster of them all.

Nothing and no one will stand in my way of redemption because those men...they’re now three. The fourth - he is the reason they call me Bullseye. They can run, but sooner or later, I’ll find them, just as I did with their friend. They’re already dead...they just don’t know it yet.

My plan was simple until I met her. A fierce tiger who had the power to break my heart. Lucky for me...she can’t break what’s already broken. I am no longer a man because the world is a jungle, and we’re all just animals - ready to tear one another apart.

Story 5 stars

This is hard to rate since I was ready to return it as soon as I finished the first chapter.

Here’s why:
Despite being a dual POV (which I was not aware of when I purchased) this only has a female narrator. Her chapters were great when she was in the female POV. When she was in the male POV it was really hard to feel like I was in the hero’s head. Her voice didn’t change for the inner thoughts thus the hero came across as feminine and not the unfeeling guy dead set on revenge.

Now I understand why there is only one review which I wish I would have read before buying. I went in blind for once and that was my mistake. This is a great story and I know audio production is expensive but I think this duet could have more listeners if a male narrator was added. It desperately needs it especially when the story is more male POV than female.

If you like dark, unfeeling and questionable hero’s definitely try this book but maybe read it unless a male narrator is added.

What's with the narrator selection!?!?

A story like this calls for a Male narrator or a female narrator who can perform the Male voice convincingly! Not only does the narrator not have the right attitude, she doesn't even TRY to give the Male character a distinctive Male voice. What a joke!
