Publisher's summary

Bob Burke is back...again.

After his recent adventures in Burke’s War and Burke’s Gamble, all this former sniper, army ranger, and Delta Force commander wants is to settle down on his North Carolina farm and let Iraq, Afghanistan, and his recent "dustups" with the Chicago and New York mobs fade away like bad memories

But sometimes, you go looking for trouble, and sometimes, trouble comes looking for you. When a homegrown ISIS cell strikes the Special Operations leadership inside Fort Bragg itself, in Delta’s own backyard, it’s time for some serious payback and a taste of revenge.

Undersized, underestimated, and now a telecommunications company executive, he is often dismissed as simply the “phone guy”, but as his former Delta sergeants will attest - whether he’s carrying a .50-caliber Barrett sniper rifle, a tactical knife, or just his bare hands - he is one of the most lethal killing machines the US government ever produced.

When C-4 takes out a close friend and one of their own, it falls to the "Merry Men of Sherwood Forest" - Bob Burke, Ace Randall, a female CID agent, the Geeks, a maverick helicopter pilot, and a large pit-cat - to even the score before the terrorists strike an even more important US military target only 200 miles away.

If you like a good action-adventure suspense novel, get this fast-moving Delta Force thriller. It’s another military best seller from the author of The Undertaker, Amongst My Enemies, Thursday at Noon, Aim True, My Brothers, Winner Lose All, and the Cold War Trilogy.

Whether you're looking for a good beach book, something to get you through a long plane flight, or something to take the chill off a cold winter night, buy the audiobook and see for your self. You can check them out on my website. And enjoy!

Great

A good plot of a college professor being passed over and seething with revenge and wanting a pay back for them having done so. He joins ISIS and they tell him to format terrior at Fort Bragg. Things go wrong for him when he meets up with Bob Burke and his elite group. Another military action packed plot that flows as terror is being done and this elite group to stop.

Bob Burke takes on terrorists in this excellent th

Burke’s Revenge is a stand-alone story in the Bob Burke series that provides enough backstory from previous stories that a new reader/listener isn’t lost in the weeds about Bob Burke and his crew. This episode had the feeling of being torn right from recent events, and once it took off, I was totally hooked by the terrorist target and the proposed way to achieve it. As with the previous Bob Burke stories there are a couple of underlying themes that fully support the overall story and provide a depth that keeps the reader hooked while being treated to intense and unending action. Mathew Newbold does a very good job with the narration.

Fast paced story

This is a fast paced story that keeps your attention. It is the 3rd book in a series and I have already started Burke's Samovar that is the 4th book. The stories are independent but I have Burke's War on my TBR list so I can see how the series started.
