About this listen

I have one goal—arrest billionaire businessman Kavner Fury.

I’m dedicated to my job as a Treasury agent, and taking down crooked financial criminals. Just like the one who destroyed my family.

Kavner Fury is wealthy, powerful, and ambitious, a combination I know too well. He’s New Orleans’ favorite billionaire. Sure, he’s also handsome, charming, with a hard body no man who sits behind a desk should have, but I have no plans to let that distract me.

He’s my enemy, my nemesis…and pure temptation. I won’t let our scorching attraction derail my investigation. But as my money laundering case leads me into dangerous territory, I find myself under attack.

Injured and betrayed, I’m shocked that there is only one man I can turn to. One man who can keep me safe.

Now I’m working with Kavner, side by side, and I uncover a protective man who’s taking a blow-torch to my icy defenses. I get to see the real man beneath the gorgeous exterior, and I’m having trouble keeping my hands off him.

Suddenly, the only man I trust is my enemy, and we’re both caught up in a fiery attraction that could leave us both burned.

Great story

I love Anna Hacket work. It is good I always read her book before they come out in audio. This one the male narrator ruined it for me.

Hmm 🤔

Ok this one is my least favorite of the 3 . I'm kinda disappointed actually.. First it starts out with her having a Cajun accent then she doesn't then later she does it's totally annoying .

Small spoiler alert..
She gets beat up they give her pain medicine and her Cajun accent is full blown when she talks , but then when she's thinking or explaining without speaking out loud she has no accent at all. it doesn't make sense.

Another thing she should have let someone go with her after being shot at before but she goes alone.. At least she had the good sence to call Kav for help..

Due to this being part of the series I'm glad I've listened to it but as I said it's not as good .. I hope the rest of the series is better and I really think most of the problems come from the narrators .

Another Fury Brother HEA

This was an excellent book. I was able to listen to it in one sitting. A billionaire falls in love with a Federal Agent. interesting story, which I crave for and it delivered. The mature content was to the level I desire in my books.

On Fire

Lawd what a good book! I adore this series, all the brothers are so dangerously hot and protective! Ooh la la! The book was full of tension and banter between the two main characters and I was happy they came together because I wasn’t sure if I could take it! London really needed to let go of the past and I’m glad she met the right Firy brother for the job. Whose next?!

Kavner takes the fall

Kavner takes the fall when London barrels into his life with danger stalking her. A fast-paced suspenseful story with danger and action as bullets fly. Kavner may be my favorite Fury brother, there was just something about him and his protectiveness that wasn't too overbearing. London was fierce and independent, and needed someone like Kavner to lean on. I enjoyed the New Orleans accent by Nicole Small. Narration brought the story to life.

Loved this again in audio 💜

This was perfect. Short, spicy, had a touch of mystery. I read it with kindle and loved it but couldn't wait to listen to it. The narrator's did a great job. I loved Nicole's New Orleans accent she did a great job. And although not perfect Tim did a good job. This one gets 5 🌟 from me. Can't wait for the next book in this series.

Entertaining!

This is the third book in the Fury Brothers Series, a Romantic Suspense. I like this series. Kavner and London's enemies to lovers romance is entertaining, and passionate, filled with danger, action, and twists and turns. The narrators did a good job bringing this story to life. I liked Nicole Small's voice as London. Looking forward to listening to the next book in the series.

Filled with action. The basic story is pretty simple and straightforward. Not many twists, turns or complications. I liked the characters. London grew on me as see opened her eyes to her own bias & discrimination.

I do like how the Furies stick together & have become a family.

I wish there was more to the relationship than lots of sex.

The Narration was good. I liked how London had more of a Orleans accent. I have noticed that none of the Furies or previous stories have had that.

These narrators bring the story to life!

London Coleman is a federal agent investigating a money laundering scheme in New Orleans. Kavner Fury’s name keeps popping up in the investigation, and London thinks he might be guilty. As she investigates further, she learns that he is innocent, but that someone is feeding info to the bad folks, as they are always one step ahead of the feds.

London and Kavner eventually get together, but not before there are a few hiccups, and a couple of tense situations. The story flows well and is exciting! These Fury brothers are pretty awesome… Just saying. And Anna Hackett does a fantastic job of telling their stories.

These narrators do an excellent job of bringing this story to life. They are consistent with the voices for each character. They bring personality to the protagonists and the rest of the characters, which causes them to seem more believable.
