Publisher's summary

Soundings and Choc Lit present the audio edition of Christmas at Moonshine Hollow.

Moonshine Hollow’s famous ‘Lightning Flash’ might be an acquired taste, although the same could be said for moonshine distillery owner Cole Landon, what with his workaholic habits and ‘Scrooge’ tendencies when it comes to all things Christmassy. But when Jenna Pendean from Cornwall pays a visit to Cole’s family-run distillery in Tennessee during the holiday season, will Cole’s cynicism about the existence of Christmas miracles be put to the test?

Tennessee Moonshine meets its match...at Christmas

Subtle manipulation of accents was a must to underscore this theme; 'Moonshine' does it to a tee. The highly talented narrator, Francine Brody, expertly brings multiple voices, both male and female, emerging from deep south US country to a country-club genteel of a no-nonsense Brit lady! Twists there are, entertaining the listener in a classic Christmas tale of a 'leading man', Cole, who's more workhorse and Scrooge than anything approaching Christmas cheer, and a straight-laced but vulnerable and not-so 'low-key' Jenna, hailing from Cornwall, England's own 'deep south'. But there's definitely a feel, despite differences. Their 'will-they-won't-they' search for their own reasons to find common ground .... and to make what they both know they want! Despite everything!
