Great insight and Christian values!

I would highly recommend this book to any single Christian parent. It provides very authentic advice backed by Christian values and surfaced a lot of things that I had never considered. Well done!

A good book to listen to

This book covers good points but most of them based on religion and Christianity. If you are not religious you might not enjoy it that much!

Speaks Volumes

Reading this opened my eyes to a few things I wasn't aware of as well as emphasized a few in terms of needing not only to be in love with each other, but for the children to be able to have a healthy relationship with a step-parent in their life as well. I know there's a lot to learn and to build on if this is the path I end up taking, but this knowledge was good not just in my pursuit of a beautiful God serving woman (a mother and role model of a female toddler), but this is also good for me in the chance (which I hope doesn't come to this) that things don't ever pick up off the floor and we remain friends, and I find a none-mother single woman or just stay single. This book is good not just for the single parent (or a guardian like myself), but for all people dating or not dating. The information is vital for all.

Author is honest. This takes a lot of hard work and provided many examples.

The performance made the content appear as if the author doesn’t support blended families. It was depressing at times to listen to due to the seriousness of the readers tone. When I reread a hard copy, it was easier to digest to content.

Narrator

A Narration was not enjoyable. Good content. Will listen to another Blended family book by Ron L Deal

Hopelessness

If you want to be depressed and hear how you can never have as good of a family as you could have had if your husband had not left and how terrible a second family will be, by all means, read this.
