Publisher's summary

Welcome to Charybdis Station!

Dr. Verion Morrick is complicated. No, really. Not too long ago, Verion was simply a divorced research scientist on Frost Veil that wanted to reconnect with his estranged son. Now, a few years and one death and resurrection later, Verion is a new person - both Death the Crellic Element and Verion Morrick. One being that helped protect the galaxy from an insidious evil.

With the war over, Verion isn't sure where he belongs, but there is one thing he is sure of. His fated life mate is an adorable gentle giant named Valentine Philbert.

Val isn't a complicated man. He spends his days working in maintenance and taking care of his teenage son. He has his friends and his family, and never thought to want more. He believed his chance at a lasting love died along with his wife years ago. Then he met Verion and knew the delicious scent of his mate immediately. In the midst of a galactic war, Val had to put their happiness on hold, but now the war is over, and Val wants his mate.

Unfortunately, the path to happiness isn't always easy. The citizens of Charybdis Station aren't quite sure what to make of Death now that they don't need him anymore. Can a weapon of war and a gentle maintenance man find their happily ever after?

Author's Note: 38,000 words. This is a m/m sci-fi/fantasy romance story with mpreg and a HEA. There is a little action and a lot of love included. It is also book one in a new series, Charybdis Station, which is a spin-off series of The Blue Solace. It is best listened to after The Blue Solace.

live love laugh

I could go on and wax poetic about writing and characters and MM romance and sci-fi romance and mpreg but even if that is or isn't your thing, what I have found above all the great story telling in these books is acceptance. The author doesn't just make the MM romance accepting but the normal within whatever your society is. They also show how if you don't have a family or friends, you find them. You cobble together your tribe and the more open minded you are, they more accepting you are, the more you grow your heart, only happiness will follow. There will be people who don't approve but the people who do completely outweighs those that don't. And all you have to do is find that tribe, those people and wrap them around you as your shield against the haters and let Love win. Thank you to the author. These stories and this huge family are soooooo needed right now ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

Stunning

Wow amazing storyline. This is the first installment of Charybdis Station and was a great interdiction to Death. Love Death and was so happy that he got a book and a HEA. Val is a amazing character loved him and his son. There are ups and downs but they belong together. Amazing can’t wait for more of this amazing series.

Overall decent

It was great premise. However, it lacked follow through. I really loved this idea but I felt there was room for so much more. Way more world building and definitely needs a better narrator. Someone who could’ve invoked some real life into these characters. I tried both this series and the original it’s an off-shoot from. Both are lacking but decent.
