Publisher's summary
The Mystic Match Mysteries are a cozy series about Casper, a college town haunted by ghostly apparitions that its scientists and psychics agree are manifestations of parallel universes.
In this first book, Demeter West and the Ghost Town Glitch, local matchmaker and PI Demeter West gets called in to investigate some interdimensional turbulence in the basement of the local library. Over the course of the investigation, Demeter learns some new approaches to tarot work, some local history, some new information about Casper's situation within the multiverse, and some things she didn't know about her husband and daughter. The first book also holds a barbecue scene that will make your mouth water (see the blog for vegan and traditional recipes), dogs who will entertain you with their antics, and teenagers with their own agendas where you least expect them.
Regarding the rest of the series, the local culture is progressively pagan, the narrative tone colorful and upbeat. Each book features a romance between a couple of Demeter's clients, and each one focuses on some new unfolding of the great mystery that is life in Casper. For more information, check out the Mystic Match Messenger blog (www.DemeterWest.com).

Every town has its secrets, but no one has a secret like hers. Amber Blackwood, lifelong resident of Edgehill, Oregon, has earned a reputation for being a semi-reclusive odd duck. Her store The Quirky Whisker is full of curiosities, from extremely potent sleepy teas and ever-burning candles to kids' toys that seem to run endlessly without the aid of batteries. The people of Edgehill think of the Quirky Whisker as an integral part of their feline-obsessed town, but most give Amber herself a wide berth.

Story
My life was going just fine by most standards. I ran a successful business in a tight-knit magical community, and lived just blocks from a beautiful lake and series of hiking trails. Then Selene showed up. According to some magical code I inherit my aunt's ancient familiar; a grumpy ten-pound cat with a broken filter. She fancies herself something of a saber-toothed tiger, and claims to have wrestled the thread of her ninth life from the hands of the Fates themselves—although, I'm pretty sure that last part isn't true. Almost positive.

Story
An American girl finds her prince in this "fun and dishy" (People) royal romance inspired by Prince William and Kate Middleton. American Bex Porter was never one for fairy tales. Her twin sister Lacey was always the romantic, the one who daydreamed of being a princess. But it's adventure-seeking Bex who goes to Oxford and meets dreamy Nick across the hall - and Bex who finds herself accidentally in love with the heir to the British throne. Nick is wonderful, but he comes with unimaginable baggage.

Intriguing and Inviting world
The author created a world I want to spend time exploring, and characters I want to know personally. There are inter-dimensional apparitions from different worlds and times, psychics and scientists, an heir, a lottery winner, coffee and books, a matchmaking service, the best dog gymnasium, a gothic mansion, professors, teenagers, and more all woven together in a cozy narrative with mystery, romance, and love.
