Publisher's summary

He’s finally free.

And I can finally remember.

Things should have gone back to normal. They’re anything but.

Chaos erupts across London, and my faith in the High Council is ruptured. Wouldn’t you know the entire paranormal community seems hell-bent on blaming it on my boyfriend....

History repeating itself?

Not this time. I won’t lose Wade. Not him.

Not again.

I’ll do anything to protect him. Even if it means taking on friends and enemies alike.

But the last one I expected to be a threat to Wade is…Wade himself.

What’s going on with him? Who’s behind the brewing war? And what will it take to stop it?

Demon Heart is the second book in a gay urban fantasy romance series, and it’s best listened to in order. It’s filled to the brim with magic, heart-pumping action, and steamy times. Book two contains a budding relationship, fated mates, and ends on a HFN.

I need more Wade & Caleb!

I enjoyed this book much more than the first! The flow was much better and the story more interesting. The tension was also more believable. I also enjoyed the narration more. The different voices were much more streamlined. I look forward to learning more about Wade and Caleb.

Demon Heart

Demon Heart is Book 2 in the Cursed Hearts series and should be enjoyed in order as it's an ongoing storyline. This book is full of action, magic, mayhem, and mystery. Caleb and Wade are together and fighting evil. As questions were answered, more were raised. This is an enjoyable continuation from the previous book and I can't wait to see what's going to happen next.
Narrator John York does a marvelous job.

Chaos & Mayhem

I enjoyed this second book a lot more than book one. Chaos & mayhem ensue now after the events of book one and we get an even more intriguing story this time. I really enjoyed reading this story and the narration with the audiobook added to the story quite a bit.

I received an ARC and this is my unbiased opinion

Excellent continuation of the series

This one grabbed me from the first and I loved every second of it. We get to watch Wade and Caleb try to build their relationship, but that's not easy with all the complications and dangers coming at them from all sides. This one has mystery, suspense, fantastic villains and does a great job building out the world we entered in the first book. I've also listened to book three and it is equally good. John York does an excellent job with all the characters and I'll definitely be checking out more York performances.

Amazing addition!

This is such an amazing continuation of this story. I love Caleb and Wade! They are still growing in their relationship and seeing how it keeps growing especially with everything going on round them. This story is filled with mystery and suspense that I just love. John York does an absolutely amazing job with the narration. I just couldn't stop listening.

paranormal chaos

This is a story chock full of paranormal chaos that continues from book 1. Caleb and Wade are still in the growing phase of their relationship. The story is good and John York’s narration is easy to listen to.

It was ok

The story was hard to follow, but the performance of the narrator was great. I had a hard time keeping track of what was going on and who was who.

Chaotically intense!

The continuation of the series was much more interesting than the last, though now I can understand the importance of the circumstances around book one.

Caleb and Wade continue to grow their relationship before taking it to the next level, which I am honestly a little lost as to the purpose. Maybe it had the intention of invoking Avalice or connecting to the universe to save the world from the apocalypse.

John York does another fantastic job bringing these challenges to life. It does help tremendously with his British accent, but there were still a few questionable moments of who was speaking. Wade had the deeper of the two voices, yet there were times when Caleb sounded very familiar.

Either way, an intense and chaotic addition, with a HFN ending, though I feel like there’s more to come in Vampire Heart.

Demon Heart

An excellent second book. Definitely best listened to in order. I didn’t do a re-listen of book one (it’s been two years between book one and two for me both listening and reading) and because of the time gap and countless books between, I couldn’t quite remember what happened in the first book. I do remember loving John’s narration though and this was no different. A truly wonderful performance.

Onto book three.

Highly recommend.
