I just had to walk the straight and narrow, earning my sword and wristbow along the way. That shot out the window when, during some mischief in the library with a very pretty elf, we accidentally summoned a demon!

The kind I’m supposed to be hunting…

I'll leap across city walls killing hobgoblins, train my blade under the watchful eye of a noblewoman, and try to prevent an adorable demon from stealing my soul. Oddly, she doesn't seem to want it. She just reads books and asks me how my day went.

this is a fun adventure, Tom North and Savannah Thomas are great voices for this. highly recommend.

Eric and Silfie are a ton of fun.

this is one of the best first book of a harem franchise I've read. the relationships are natural. the mc is easy to root for being a blacksmiths son with as much knowledge about his past as the readers have. the voice actors deliver the story in an entertaining and engaging way. Easily worth spending a credit if you are on the fence.

Good book, not my favorite. It has some charm about it, it's slow at some points, but it picks right back up. That dam cliffhanger though, makes my arms sore. I do look forward to more of these books, and definitely more battle miner.

This promises to be a series worth following. From the choice of the timberline to the premise this interesting combination is new and inventive.
My only warning to those who care, but appreciated me, is that there isn't a lot of world building. It's just enough for you to get what you need to know so that you aren't clueless.

This was a great first book. Loads of world building and lots of action.
Some spice to mellow things out but overall an awesome book.

To begin Eric was living his best life ready to marry the girl of his dream, until he bumped hide beast
After that he his world was flip upside down. A good start to beginning of a book that I will continue to listen to both narrators pull their best punches, and I do enjoy a good story about how one thing can lead to another. Thank you very much for letting me listen to this book.

I was positively surprised by how much I ended up liking the main character and his relationship. the story was fun to listen to as well. the voice actors did a great job too.

I truly hate the MC he’s a whining idiot but I love everything else about the book I just skipped a few parts where he spirals in his own head
