Christopher Boucher and Jessica Threet have won my appreciation as fantastic narrators. They both have a talent to portray the emotions on the page and I have found myself both laughing and crying throughout this series as Wes Malcom overcomes difficulties. I've listened to the three books currently available on Audible and will miss Christopher Boucher and Jessica Threet's presence as I push onward through the series.

Nathan Thompson has taken the concept of a LitRPG/GameLit book and pushed it in a direction I haven't seen from many other series in the genre. Regardless of the safety mechanisms described for the lead character, there is a constant feeling of peril and consequence.

Great Narrators, Evocative Writing

This one is pretty good. The MC seems OP, but has his kryptonite and it's in the hands of some baaaaaaad people.

The guy is run through the ringer and... well... you know. pick it up and check it out. I'm immediately getting the second in the series.

I love this story! The voice acting was great, and I really enjoyed the use of multiple actors for different characters!

My favorite LitRPG

Sometimes, with multiple narrators, it can be a little jarring to switch from one voice to another. Not this time. Wonderful blending, wonderful reading, wonderful story! Can’t wait to read and hear more!

This is one of the best LitRPGs out there loved by multiple well known authors in this genre like Jez Cajiao. If you like the zero to OP MC track this one is for you. If you want villains that you can out right hate this one is for you. If you want the psychological toll on the hero acknowledged and part of what has to be overcome this is for you.

This is an exciting story about overcoming challenges and going on to triumph over adversity. There are game lit actions and lots of world building and character building activities. It’s never boring. Also the narrator does a great job! I am looking forward to more books in this series!!!

I love this story, very gripping, very full of excitement! love seeing the main character Wes overcome challenge after challenge while also dealing with his inner demons.
