Publisher's summary

Six years have passed since Hualiama and Grandion defied the Island-World's most sacred law. They burned the heavens together as rider and dragon. For his crime, Grandion the Tourmaline dragon suffered exile and imprisonment. The dragons forced Hualiama to forget her past. Now the suns must set upon the age of the ancient dragons. Amaryllion Fireborn, last of his kind, bequeaths Hualiama an astonishing legacy. She is the Dragonfriend. Raised by dragons. Burned by dragon fire. Oath-bound to a dragon. Crossing the Island-World in search of her Dragonlove, she will forge an indelible mark upon history.

Better than the last

Lore based insults are a burden to listen to, the last half of the story however, and the ending are well done. Good love story :3

dragon love

leaha rescues grandion from capture by the evil dragon haters. to find her mother and father at the dragon haters head. resisting she finds she is the scroll of binding. after a horrible dragon battle she sacrafices herself as the orange dragon must never get her powers. at the moment of her death by fire and molton lava. bright burning light causes all dragons to shade there eyes even blind grandion. leaha gives in to her inner nature to find herself burning and in a dream like state meeting herself. Though she is the same she is also different. blue hair, blue eyes and a sense she is somehow older and wiser. she learns she had awoken this inner part of herself when oaths sworn to grandion. she then learns through her burning that she has become fire! when shewakes she discovers leaha is a dragon! not a full size dragon but a hatchling! but now all things are possible with grandion as her soulmate! but her mother is still present and fights to capture her! which she is sucessful but now leaha is a dragon! can she control her, use her, make her or grandion forget each other, or make war using leaha as he tool to distroy all other humans on the other islands? idk....u will have to read the next book.
I truely enjoyed this book! dragons are me! but ill never be a dragon! this book makes it possible! the imagination and workmanship are outstanding! kinda saw it coming but it was great once it got here! have to get the next book! thanx for writing this book!

WOW... Thrilling sequel :)

Excellent continuation of the exciting life story & saga of love, courage & triumph of Hualiama & Grandion. Completely unexpected ending. Cant wait until book 3 is available & see how they overcome this new conundrum. Im unable to imagine how this story continues. This author possesses an awesome imagination & trove of dragon lore that twists & turns into a breathtaking journey flight of fantasy & wonder. Im breathless :)

I love these books

I love these books there very captivating. I also thought the narration by Erin Bennett was wonderful. I love it when you get a good narrator that can do different voices for the character's it just brings them more to life. It also reminds me of the time when I would read to my children and niece's and nephews. My neice had this look of awe on her face the first time I read a bedtime story to her. because she had never had anyone read to her that could used different voices for the characters.

For the Love of Dragons!

This story is well told. I love it and the dragons. It gets a bit confusing with all the specifics with the main characters birth and how she was made, but otherwise, the tale is very good. I must say, though, I really miss the little dragonette from book 1. Marc Secchia does a great job getting inside the female character's head.
