About this listen
We are in darkness. We are alone.
They came from the lands of light. They came with torches, with lanterns, with the banners of the sun. The children of endless day - they came to banish the darkness.
And they came to kill.
We are the children of never-ending night. We are the dwellers of shadow. In the light of our enemy, we are dying.
We were born in darkness. We must cast out the light. This is our story.

Story
They say the world used to turn. They say that night would follow day in an endless dance. They say that dawn rose, dusk fell, and we worshiped both sun and stars. That was a long time ago.My people are the fortunate. We live in daylight, blessed in the warmth of the sun. Yet across the line, the others lurk in eternal night, afraid... and alone in the dark.I was born in the light. I was sent into darkness. This is my story.

Story
The people of Requiem, an ancient kingdom, can grow wings and scales, breathe fire, and take flight as dragons. Their hearts are noble, their wisdom great, their kingdom a land of beauty and peace. This peace will soon burn. From the south, a fire rises. Birds of flame take flight. The phoenixes soar, beasts of heat and wrath, large as dragons and cruel as wildfire. Their purpose is one: destroy the land of dragons.

Story
Long ago stood the kingdom of Requiem, a land of men who could grow wings and scales, breathe fire, and take flight as dragons. Requiem ruled the sky. But Dies Irae, a tyrant leading an army of griffins, hunted Requiem's people, burned their forests, and shattered their temples. Requiem fell. This ancient land now lies in ruin, its halls crumbled, its cries silenced, its skeletons littering the burned earth.

When Odysseus comes to recruit the “prince” Achilles for a war against the Hittites, she prepares to die rather than fight as a man. However, her divine mother, Athena, intervenes, transforming her body into the woman’s body she always longed for, and promises her everything: glory, power, fame, victory in war, and, most importantly, a child born of her own body.

The difference in their uncanny eyes could not be easily discerned. In the rays of the setting sun, both Aravel's and Morlan's eyes appeared gold. In the pale moonlight...yellow. Seemingly the same. Such inscrutable likeness is the way of things with identical twins. But all who knew the two brothers well noted unmistakable differences, peculiarities more experienced than seen.

Action and suspense .... The Moth Saga book 2 will keep you listening till the end and wanting to get right into book 3 as Koyee tries to reach her goal. Lots of action and the narrator's reading and voice added to the thrill of this audiobook.

Entertaining Story
The time line is a little off, and doesn't use normal time units (years, months) which is expected, but also doesn't define the time units, they feel arbitratary.
production of the audio book was not as good. there were some chapters that we're recorded poorly and at wuieter volumes, and the opposite.
Despite all of this I would recommend this story for a quick read and an appreciation of fantasy
