About this listen

A HOT, JUICY STANDALONE FROM BESTSELLING AUTHOR, JADE JONES

Zenobia is just a regular, around-the-way girl with dreams of owning her own hair salon. For years, she’s been focused on her goals, but after falling victim to the manipulative ways of her trifling ex-boyfriend Liam, she was somehow thrown off track. Luckily, she rekindles an old flame that helps her bring her dream to fruition. Semaj Santana aka Smoke is her lover and best friend wrapped in one, but unbeknownst to her, he’s hiding a deep, dark secret. One that could completely shatter their life-long friendship—and future.

JaQuay is young, beautiful and the girlfriend of gang leader, Yadon, of the East Side Triads. Yadon spoils her to no end, but everything that glitters ain’t gold, and no amount of money or material possessions can make up for all the pain and suffering she’s had to endure with him. It’s bad enough she has to deal with his 3 baby mamas, but the constant infidelities was not something she signed up for. JaQuay has a plan to get even. But will it cost her more than the price of revenge?

Prepare yourself for a wild, messy ride! Backs will be stabbed, secrets will be exposed, and by the time you make it to the final page, you WILL be clutching your pearls!

how the book kept my attention and on the edge of my seat

I like the fact that the ending was good and my dislike is that it's not a part 2

Too many characters

This book had too many characters storylines. I didn’t like the fact that one of the main characters was the side chick. I get all of the twists and turns but each character could have been a separate book. With that many characters it makes the book feel rushed.

Nope

The level of immaturity of writer. The verbiage was so redundant. And the virtual voice made it worse. if your going use the voice let voice have some character and learn the lingo.
