Good Listen

This is a good continuation of the series and I liked getting to know this story since it was hinted at in the previous installments. However it wasn't what I expected and I wasn't disappointed per say just had a hard time connecting it. Overall Harder does a good job with the narration and it was a pleasant listen.

Sweet Second Chance Romance, Nice Narration

An absolutely adorable second change romance. One of my all time favorite tropes, Austin Bates does is beautifully in Falling in Love with Someone so Different.

I usually count on Bates for low angst, feel-good romances and this one completely fits the bill. The story rolls along with likable side characters, and held my attention throughout.

Performed by C.S. Harder, he does a wonderful job with the narration. Giving each character a unique voice to help differentiate between them all definitely increases my enjoyment when listening to an audiobook.

I have several more of the audio versions of this series and I'm looking forward to hearing C.S. Harder read them to me.

Sweet and entertainng

I liked the story quite a lot, but the thing is, I never totally warmed up to Isaac. I get that he was young and naive when he got into the glamorous world of fashion, but the way he treated Gray? That's something I couldn't forgive :(

Nevertheless, the story advances with a perfect pace, with the right amount of angst, and I'm more than willing for those two to have their happy ending by the end of the story. Add to that the fact that I was really happy for the role Gray played on saving Isaac, and you'll have a winner :P

C.S. Harder does a great job with the narration.

sweet

Austin Bates' Falling In Love With Someone So Different is the fourth book in the Second Chance Lovers series. It's a fun and sweet second chance omegaverse romance. It is sweet, sexy, funny with just a touch of drama and angst. The characters are great. I live Gray and Isaac are fantastic together.i loved them.

The narrator of the audiobook is CS Harder. Voicework is well done - different tones and voices that bring out the characters' personalities and entertain the listener. The recording is smooth. Great job.

Isaac & Grayson

A second chance lovers story. Isaac's new career took off and he dropped his support, his high school sweetheart. Now, his world is shattering from his own stupidity, to believe someone so slimy, and he is hiding at home. Grayson wants nothing to do with him, but he has not actually moved on. Both have healing to do and growing up.

enjoyed it [solid 3.5 stars]

Would I listen to it again: yes
Did the story keep me engaged: yes
Was I invested in the characters: yes - but i never really warmed to Issac
What did I like about the story? good pace, interesting characters and a journey of healing and growth to get Issac and Grey to their HEA.
Was there anything that didn't work for me? .. Issac was a jerk to Grey and I feel Grey took him back too quickly given how long it took to get himself together after Issac left - would Issac come back for Grey if the LA incident hadn't happened ... I think probably not!

Narrator comment: C.S. Harder has done a good job narrating "Falling in Love with Someone so Different". His narration is reflective of the personalities and emotions of the characters and I had no problem distinguishing who was speaking.

second chance

I felt empathy for Isaac to a point because he was wronged by his ex in LA. but when he came home he wss arrogant and selfish with Gray. Gray took him back too soon. I question Isaac's true feelings or was it just convenient??? No one should become a second choice or settle for seconds. Gray saved Isaac and was a true hero. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job bringing it to life.

Wonderful Series

I'm just loving this second chances series. Two friends finding their way back to each other where they belong. Sometimes it's messy, sometimes it's sweet but it's always happy in the end.
Narrator C.S. Harder does another fabulous job with this book.

Falling in Love

The story line was great and the characters are well developed and they played well off of each other.
The story of a high school love that breaks apart to pursue a career and a jilted domineering power hungry character, brings about a lot of plot twist. This book was very enjoyable.
However, C.S. Harder has a great voice and is easy to listen to. The delay between sentences doesn't flow well and is a distraction.
