Publisher's summary

As we open up to life and love and each other, as we awaken from our dream of separation, we encounter not just the bliss of existence, but its pain, too; not only life's ecstasy, but also its agony. Healing doesn't always feel good or comfortable or even "spiritual", for we are inevitably forced to confront our shadows, fears, and deepest longings - those secret parts of ourselves that we have denied, repressed, or deemed "negative" and unworthy of our love. How can we find the calm in the midst of the storm? How can we rest, even as the ground falls? Falling in Love with Where You Are invites you to discover a deep yes to your life, no matter what you are going through; to see crisis as an opportunity to heal, pain as an intelligent messenger, and your imperfections as perfectly placed. Through his prose and poetry, Jeff Foster will guide, provoke, encourage, and inspire you on your lonely, joyful, and sometimes exhausting journey to the home you never, ever left: the present moment.

Such a therapeutic read

This book is so well written to detail the peace in our imperfect life journey that we all need. Helpful, insightful, wise. Highly recommended

Infinite stars

It took a long time to grok that surrender is an act of Love; not skill or practice. Thank you Jeff, for this beautiful and very powerful reminder. The narration is excellent. Thank you Stephen.

Great wisdom

But… it really should be read by the author because the narrator sucks. Big time. When Jeff reads his own books there’s SO much more that you get than just words. You get Jeff’s loving compassionate energy and voice fluctuation that delivers the profound depth of his teachings. A lot of this gets lost in the monotone narrating of this book by some dude that sounds like a radio host. Ugh.

More descriptive than prescriptive.

Really didn't do much to explain how to get there. Mostly it seemed to covey a sense of the state but seemed to suggest just being like that even if you weren't feeling it.

Loved it!

Best book I've listened to so far. Very practical guide for experiencing peace right now, right where you are in this very moment.

Grateful for you.

I don’t know how to say it any clearer but I must thank you for the amplification in my equilibrium and journey toward nothing and true liberation of being no one. You’ve helped me love myself further and in return I love everyone more.

Waste of Time

I’m not really sure what this book was but it didn’t teach me about falling in love with where I’m at now. I’m a poetry fan but this was boring, useless, and overall a MASSIVE disappointment.
