This book has a lot of characters and a complex mystery with twists. It's good, but I think I'd like it better in written form than on audible. The performance is very good.

Entertaining FBI story and performance

When Maya decides to investigate her grandmother's death that happened years ago, she stirs up old problems. Maya meets Jax in the bar that her grandmother used to go. Jax is really an undercover FBI agent investigating another case. He's afraid that she's going to blow his cover. He decides to keep her close to see what she's up to. When her home gets set on fire, he thinks she's getting too close to his case. It's interesting how these cases intersect. Good narration, too.

Struggle to finish this one. Getting a bit tired and annoyed with the same narrator. Given all the news about Russia over the past 6 months, perhaps not the best choice to read a book about Russian spies.
