About this listen

He’s her brother’s best friend. She’s totally off-limits. But when life takes an unexpected turn, she’s the only one he wants at his side…

Fyfe Moray raised himself. His only real family is his best friend, Lewis Adair. For that reason, Lewis’s sister Eilidh is totally off-limits. Fyfe is in deep denial about their intense attraction. Thankfully, Eilidh is a famous actor living in London while he runs his cyber security company from the Highlands. They’re worlds apart. Until one day, Eilidh reaches out asking for a lifeline and Fyfe can’t bring himself to turn her away.

Acting isn’t what Eilidh Adair expected. As a kid, she wanted to be just like her famous uncles. But the double-edged sword of fame cuts deeper than expected. Afraid to admit she’s made a mistake, Eilidh is spiraling. The only person who knows the truth is Fyfe, but her childhood crush has developed into a love he won’t return. Yet when she comes home intent on starting over, Fyfe can’t seem to stay away. His confused feelings might just be the end of them. Until a woman from Fyfe’s past abandons the baby daughter he never knew he had.

Now a single father, Fyfe needs support. He just never expected Eilidh to be the one he needed most. Fyfe can’t believe how quickly he falls for his child and how rapidly his world view changes. He’s ready to admit the truth: he’s madly in love with his best friend’s sister. And Fyfe’s done wasting time.

But someone else believes Eilidh belongs to them. Someone who has been watching her far longer than she realizes. Just when she thinks she might have everything she wants, Eilidh finds herself caught in the crosshairs of a person intent on destroying everything she holds dear.

A Solid Ending to a Great Series

Forever the Highlands is Fife and Eilidh’s story. Eilidh (a famous actress) always loved Fife who was emotionally unavailable because of being abandoned as a kid. He kept her at arms length until he found a secret baby from a fling on his front porch. He realized that he could in fact love someone, especially his daughter and Eiligh. The beginning is a little slow, but I really enjoyed the story and the romance. It was a decent ending to the series.

Whisk me to Scotland please

What a way to close out this series. It was total perfection!

Fyfe and Eilidh’s story is one that is guaranteed to hit you hard and make a lasting impression. It was so beautiful. So heartfelt. So powerful. The way my heart broke over Fyfe’s past and his outlook on love. The way I felt the angst over Eilidh’s struggles with her career and fame.

What to expect:
•Small Town
•Brother’s Best Friend
•Single Dad
•Friends to Lovers
•Romantic Suspense

Eilidh has always had hearts in her eyes when it came to Fyfe, her brother’s best friend. Oh. My. Gosh people!! I absolutely loved the way their relationship developed. Baton down the hatches, and get ready to ride out the storm of their slow burn romance, but trust me, once that spark is lit, their flames will burn oh so bright.

My heart overran with happiness and love at watching Fyfe taking on the dad roll. Gah just thinking about it gives me all the happy feels.

This series is a must read, as well as the Adair Family Series.

Forever the Highlands was so so so so good!!! What a way to end the series!!! If I could give it more than five stars I would! This one has me all up in my feels! I’m so sad that it is over!! I’m not ready for this world to be done!! I was hooked immediately and didn’t want to put it down! I got the audio just for that reason. Let me tell you! The narrators in this book were amazing! I think I loved this one so much because of them! They really brought this one to life! I found myself feeling the feels way more than I would have if I just read it. This author knows how to do romantic suspense! So good! If you’re looking for angst, found family, friends to lovers, slow burn, brothers best friend, small town, suspenseful romance be sure to add this one to your tbr!!

surprising

the only reason this is surprising to me probably is cuz I don't read blurbs I just Dive In it said Highland so it takes place in the highlands but it's definitely a modern-day story. it deals with abandonment and I have to say abuse cuz abandonment is abuse if you ask me if you're abandoned a child to live on their own at such a young age. was a very good story kept me totally interested and the narration superb
